After getting back from the bridal boutique, Max immediately swept Valerie off her feet, throwing her over his shoulder like a bag of potatoes and despite her protest, he carried her up till he got to her room and laid her on the bed, torturing her with endless and unbearable pleasure but never going all the way.

'I know he said he wanted to leave that part for when we're officially married in the eyes of everyone but isn't that just an excuse?' she thought and spat out the paste from her mouth.
