Facing Kizaru's questioning, Aokiji scratched his head helplessly, unsure of where to begin.
He couldn't exactly say that the guy smiling across from him was a monster, that he couldn't defeat him alone, and that Robin was also in his hands.
Wasn't surrendering his only option?
"Borsalino, stop. The seas are already filled with our people," Aokiji said seriously.
"Uchiha Sasuke, Hoshigaki Kisame, the Art Pirates—they are all under Colt's command."
"Our purpose isn't to target the Marines but to dismantle this corrupt World Government."
"What's more, if you want to leave here alive today, you'll need to cooperate. There are no other options"
Aokiji glanced at Colt, who had moved out a tea table, filled it with fruits, and was casually eating with his companions.
A flash of helplessness crossed his eyes.
'Brother, you're recruiting people here. Couldn't you show your strength for once?'
"Sounds quite terrifying... The Four Emperors, the Marines, the Shichibukai—all thoroughly infiltrated," Kizaru said with a light clap.
"This is a major issue."
Even he was shocked by the scale of the information.
Unbeknownst to the World Government, such a formidable force had emerged on the seas.
Wait… don't tell me?
Kizaru's sharp senses caught on to something.
"Are there people from your side in the World Government as well?"
Aokiji shifted his gaze to Colt.
"Hmph!"
Uchiha Madara scoffed in disdain.
"Only a rat like Senju Tobirama could handle such a dark and slimy job."
"Hey, Madara, don't talk about Second Hokage that way! He's working hard for the Ninja Nation!" Naruto retorted, frowning.
Naruto didn't understand the grudge between Senju Tobirama and Madara, but if he had to choose, he would side with Tobirama.
"You're just a brainwashed brat. How boring," Madara said, rolling his eyes.
He turned away, muttering about taking his frustrations out on the Third Hokage later.
Meanwhile, Kizaru pieced together the scattered information from their conversation.
Ninja Nation—that's the name of the organization Aokiji joined, or perhaps it's an actual country. And with someone like Senju Tobirama involved, it's clear the Five Elders were not as attentive, letting a spy be planted even within the CPO… it was Quite the achievement.
"Well, thank you for clarifying, Madara and Naruto-san," Kizaru said, smiling once more. He seemed amused.
"But frankly, being a double agent sounds exhausting. So, I'll have to decline."
"We'll meet again."
As soon as he finished speaking, Kizaru's body transformed into a ball of golden light, shooting into the distance at high speed.
The [Sparkling Fruit] granted him incredible speed, surpassing even the [Thunder Fruit]. It was also his trump card, making him one of the few people able to cross the seas freely.
His instructor, Zephyr, had advised him to focus less on his fruit powers and more on physical combat, but Kizaru had never taken it seriously.
After all, the [Sparkling Fruit] offered unparalleled versatility—long-range attacks, close combat, and ultimate speed.
Even against multiple Four Emperors, he had always felt secure.
Unfortunately for him, today he faced Colt.
Colt, who was casually munching on a piece of melon, extended his right hand and murmured through his bites:
"[Uchiha Flame Formation]!"
A towering barrier of flames rose from the ground, enveloping several adjacent islands and sealing them into a massive cuboid.
The golden light streaking through the sky sped straight toward it.
When Kizaru's figure materialized, he raised his foot for a fierce kick.
Boom!
A dull collision resounded, but the barrier remained unscathed.
The force rebounded, sending Kizaru flying back.
"What the…?"
Kizaru glanced at his singed pants, a rare expression of alarm crossing his face.
He felt uneasy.
The flames could burn him even in his elemental state, and that kick felt like striking seastone.
"Can't you tell? If you can't break it, that's how it's supposed to be," Madara said smugly.
He was unsurprised by the result, knowing the strength of his clan's barriers.
What's more, this one had been cast by Colt himself—a monster in every sense.
Madara suspected that even in his [Six Paths Sage Mode], breaking through the barrier would be nearly impossible.
"There's only one way to escape now," Colt said, smiling as if genuinely offering advice.
"You could destroy the island and escape through the water."
Kizaru's face twitched.
Sinking the Sabaody Archipelago? Even if he could, the Marine HQ wouldn't forgive him for such destruction.
"Colt, let me try convincing him again. I'm sure I can make him surrender," Aokiji said, still unwilling to give up on his friend.
But Madara was done waiting.
Releasing an overwhelming wave of [Conqueror's Haki], he charged into the sky to engage Kizaru directly.
"Let Madara have his fun," Colt said to Aokiji.
"This will prove both our sincerity and strength to Kizaru."
Colt observed the golden light darting around in the sky, avoiding direct confrontation with Madara.
With a sigh, he made a single-handed seal.
Better to end this quickly. We can't let him mess around any longer.
The fiery barrier began shrinking, destroying everything in its path as it closed in.
Kizaru, dodging attacks, noticed the shrinking barrier.
The less space he had, the closer Madara's relentless attacks came to pinning him down.
There's no time left.
He had no choice but to confront his pursuer.
"[Yasaka Magatama]!"
"[Yasakani no Magatama]!"
Blue magatama and golden energy projectiles rained down, clashing in a storm of fire and light.
But, suddenly!
Kizaru transformed into a beam of light, speeding toward Colt.
"Watch out!" Nami cried out in alarm.
But what happened next left everyone stunned.
After landing, Kizaru raised his hands in surrender.
His expression was calm but sincere.
"I've thought it through. Aokiji was right—after decades in the Marines, it's time for a change.
"I've decided to leave the darkness behind and join you."

The scene suddenly fell silent.
Everyone present stared at Kizaru in disbelief.
"You surrendered too quickly!"
Aokiji barely had time to persuade him to surrender again.
He had hoped that after Uchiha Madara gave Kizaru a quick beat down, he could step in and give Kizaru a graceful way out.
But now... you didn't even finish the fight before throwing in the towel?
Wasn't this a bit much?
If Sengoku saw this scene, he'd probably faint from anger.
"What happened to the dignity of an Admiral?"
"Hey, are you kidding me? Is this really an Admiral?" Nami's mouth twitched wildly, utterly shocked by Kizaru's lack of resolve.
"No, Borsalino is just an exception, Miss Nami," Aokiji said earnestly, clearly embarrassed to be associated with Kizaru.
However, his explanation was unconvincing, as evident from Nami's skeptical expression.
"Surrendering mid-battle? Are you kidding me?"
Uchiha Madara landed beside Kizaru, furious.
Kizaru didn't resist, which left Madara—who hadn't even finished warming up—deeply frustrated.
"I wandered all my life and never met someone truly worth serving, but today, I have," Kizaru said. "So, I've decided to bring my talents to the Ninja Nation to contribute to your cause."
Colt said nothing but quietly activated his Rinnegan.
The powerful Yin Release abilities allowed him to sense Kizaru's true intentions.
'He's not genuinely surrendering.'
"You thought you could lie to me? It seems you need a proper beating," Colt said coldly before vanishing like a phantom.
Even Naruto couldn't sense his movements.
"Borsalino, you can't fool me with such petty tricks."
"Don't mistake my kindness for weakness!"
Kizaru's instincts screamed danger, and he immediately became intangible, elementalizing into light.
Boom!
Colt smashed Kizaru into a rain of light, then extended his hand.
"Universal Pull!"
A tremendous gravitational force emanated from Colt's palm, binding everything like a black hole. Even light couldn't escape.
"Hey! Don't drag us into this!" Nami shouted, quickly retreating as the dining table she was near was also sucked into the field.
She wasn't about to become collateral damage.
Kizaru's upper body reformed, and he retaliated by launching a barrage of energy-light bombs.
Due to the gravitational pull, the scattered light bullets converged toward Colt, forming concentrated light beams.
"Not bad," Colt smirked, canceling the gravitational field.
He extended his right hand, clad in Haki, effortlessly deflecting the attacks.
Golden light gathered in Kizaru's hand, forming a reflective beam of light. Using the light path, he darted around at incredible speed, almost as if teleporting.
Unlike Aokiji and Akainu, Kizaru relied on a small set of moves: the Yata no Kagami, Yasakani no Magatama, Ama no Murakumo light sword, and his nameless lasers.
But these few techniques were more than enough—especially the Yata no Kagami, his signature escape move.
Kizaru wasn't trying to defeat Colt.
Even if he succeeded, Aokiji, Naruto, and Uchiha Madara were still waiting.
He just needed to stall until the Marines realized something was wrong and reinforcements arrived.
Colt, sensing Kizaru's intentions, turned into a crackling blue current and gave chase.
Wherever Kizaru appeared, Colt was right there beside him.
Each collision resulted in a deafening explosion.
From Nami, Robin, and the others' perspectives, it looked like two glowing orbs—one golden and one blue—dancing in the air.
Sonic booms echoed continuously, and Uchiha Madara's expression turned serious.
"This speed rivals the [Flying Thunder God] technique used by Senju Tobirama and Namikaze Minato. It's also just as unpredictable."
Madara, though proud, was not so arrogant as to ignore the abilities of others.
"If not for Colt, even I would have trouble catching Kizaru," he admitted.
"This guy Borsalino usually hides his true strength," Aokiji added, his tone thoughtful.
They had sparred before, but Kizaru had never shown this level of speed.
But even more impressive was Colt.
Using only his physical body, Colt had matched the speed of light.
"What a monster..." Aokiji muttered.
After enough time had passed, Colt suddenly intercepted Kizaru mid-movement. He made a strange gesture.
A spinning shield of chakra infused with Haki appeared, forming a massive dome of energy that obliterated everything within its radius.
When the shield dissipated, the ground was left scorched and dusty.
"What incredible Armament Haki," Naruto said, awestruck.
"Yeah, even Garp couldn't pull off such a massive display of Haki," Aokiji admitted.
The dust settled, revealing Colt standing calmly, his clothes unblemished.
In contrast, Kizaru looked battered.
His Admiral cloak was gone, his yellow-striped suit was in tatters, and his body was covered in cuts.
"You're tough, Kizaru," Colt said, stretching casually as his joints cracked audibly.
"It's been a while since I've had a proper workout. This can be considered a good warm-up."
"Warm-up?!" Kizaru gasped, out of breath.
Admirals were usually the ones referred to as monsters, yet today, Kizaru found himself using the term for someone else.
Although their fight seemed brief, it had drained Kizaru significantly.
His speed and naturalization required immense stamina.
"Yes, just a warm-up," Colt replied seriously, gesturing to Aokiji. "After all, even he couldn't get me to break a sweat."
Aokiji was speechless.
"If I had that speed, I wouldn't have lost so quickly either."
"Enough fun. Now, what's your final answer?" Colt asked, smiling warmly.
But his smile sent chills down Kizaru's spine.
With a defeated sigh, Kizaru stood up, spread his hands, and said, "Do I still have a choice?"
