"Uh, sorry, I thought it was a fish net clothing..." Colt feeling the stares thrown at him, quickly defended with a serious face, realizing what he had done.
In his previous life, he had wondered if Anko was so unconventional that she actually used fishnet clothes as a daily attire. Only now did he realize that rumors could be misleading. It wasn't that at all, but rather it was a custom-made outfit that was crafted of thin metal mesh to fit the lines of her body.
"You!" Anko gritted her teeth but, as an examiner, she couldn't address Colt's actions now. She could only give him a vicious look before continuing to explain the precautions.
Colt and his team, being the only four-person squad, had more demanding requirements than others. Ordinary squads were issued one scroll and needed to acquire another to pass the test. Colt's team only received one but needed two sets.
"You guys go with the scroll. I'll go alone; it's more convenient that way," Colt suggested to Sasuke as they gathered.
He had another purpose for entering the Forest of Death: to find various beasts and gain physical attribute points.
"Okay, then we'll meet at the tower," Sasuke nodded in agreement.
He wasn't worried about Colt's strength at all, and going separately would allow them to hone their skills better.
With Anko's order, all the candidates poured into the forest. Colt walked unhurriedly at the end, watching the directions Hinata and Ino took, and chose a path between them.
Not long after entering the forest, Colt sensed a small team hidden in the trees ahead.
Kunais and Shurikens cut through the air, quickly approaching Colt.
He sighed, and with a casual movement, he caught all the shuriken in his palm, then sent them back the same way.
"What!" Screams erupted as a genin fell from the tree and hit the ground heavily.
The forehead protector identified him as someone from the Hidden Grass Village.

Two more jumped out of the bushes, charging towards Colt with their weapons drawn.
For ninjas, completing the mission was the primary goal.
If they rushed to rescue their companion now, the other party had a high chance of surviving. But these two still chose to attack Colt first.
It's a pity they didn't know that the path they chose was a shortcut to death.
The two ninjas' short blades stabbed out almost simultaneously. In the nick of time, Colt dodged the attack with an unbelievable angle. A dazzling thunder light appeared on both of his hands.

The sand bullets hit the earth wall with dull thuds but didn't shatter it immediately. Taking advantage of the blocked vision, Gaara separated part of the sand and tried to attack Colt's body directly.

Temari's injury completely enraged Gaara, who burst with powerful chakra. Even Team 8, hiding far away, could feel it.
Hinata activated her Byakugan and looked worriedly at Colt who was fighting.
"Oh? Is he releasing Shukaku?" Colt looked at Gaara in surprise, not expecting him to be so impulsive as to forgo all plans.
However, in front of the Sharingan, all tailed beasts were vulnerable.
Without even needing the Mangekyō, Colt only activated his 3-Tomoe Sharingan and successfully hypnotized both Gaara and Shukaku.
