Capítulo 13: Chapter 12: Chao sown

Deep beneath the surface of the ocean, where light feared to tread and the darkness reigned supreme, Klarion the Witch Boy conducted his nefarious ritual with a sense of twisted glee. Surrounded by swirling currents and the eerie glow of bioluminescent creatures, he cackled with delight as he infused his dark magic into a strange mold that he had fashioned from the very essence of his malevolent power.

The mold took shape under his command, morphing into the grotesque visage of a monstrous creature ripped straight from the annals of Greek mythology – Typhon, the father of all monsters. Its jagged teeth gleamed in the dim light, its serpentine body coiled with an aura of menace, and its eyes glowed with an otherworldly malevolence.

"Ah, Typhon or should I call you typhan, my dear creation," Klarion crooned, his voice dripping with malice as he admired his handiwork. "You shall serve me well, my pet. Together, we shall sow chaos and discord upon the surface world, bringing misery to all who dwell above."

As he reveled in his impending triumph, a soft meowing sound interrupted his musings, causing him to whirl around in annoyance. There, standing behind him with an air of nonchalance, was his familiar – Teekl, a feline creature with eyes that gleamed with intelligence.

"Meow," Teekl mewed, regarding Klarion with a bored expression.

Klarion's eyes narrowed as he regarded his familiar with irritation. "What's that, Teekl? You dare to mock me?" he snapped, his tone laced with venom.

Teekl's only response was a disdainful flick of his tail, a gesture that spoke volumes about his opinion of his master's grandiose plans.

Ignoring his familiar's insolence, Klarion returned his attention to the task at hand, his laughter echoing through the dark depths as he unleashed the full force of his dark magic upon the ocean's energy lines. With each surge of power, the Typhon-like mold absorbed vast quantities of energy, growing stronger and more powerful with each passing moment.

As the mold embedded itself deeper into the magical leyline that crisscrossed the ocean floor, its malignant influence began to spread, causing disturbances that rippled across the ocean's surface. Strange currents twisted and churned, and the waters above seethed with an unnatural fury, foreshadowing the chaos that would soon be unleashed upon the surface world.

With a triumphant smirk, Klarion surveyed his handiwork, his eyes gleaming with malevolent satisfaction. "Let the games begin," he whispered, his voice carrying on the currents of the deep, as the first tremors of the impending catastrophe began to reverberate through the ocean's depths.

Meanwhile, on the surface, the Justice League convened in their Watchtower headquarters, their brows furrowed in concern as reports of strange disturbances in the ocean reached their ears.

Aquaman stood at the center, his trident in hand, addressing his fellow heroes. The room's holographic display showed a map of the world's oceans, highlighted with red zones indicating areas of disturbance.

Aquaman's voice was filled with urgency. "We've been monitoring the disturbances in the ocean depths for the past few weeks. It's getting worse. The seismic activity is increasing, causing earthquakes in coastal cities."

Superman leaned forward, concern etched on his face. "Any progress on identifying the source?"

Aquaman shook his head, frustration evident. "Not yet. The readings are unlike anything we've encountered before. It's as if something is drawing massive amounts of energy from the ocean's ley lines, but we can't pinpoint what it is."

Wonder Woman crossed her arms, her brow furrowed. "These disturbances are too coordinated to be natural. There must be a deliberate cause behind them."

Batman, ever the strategist, interjected. "We've had our sensors and satellites scanning continuously, but whatever is causing this is adept at evading detection. We need to intensify our efforts."

Martian Manhunter, his voice calm but firm, added, "We must consider all possibilities, including magical interference. The nature of these disturbances suggests an unnatural origin."

Green Arrow nodded in agreement. "If it's magic, we need to bring in someone with expertise in that area. Zatarra could be of help."

As the League members discussed their options, Dinah raised her hand. "I have another suggestion. It might be beneficial for Toneri to join the investigation. His unique abilities could provide insights we haven't considered."

Batman looked skeptical. "Are you suggesting we take him down to Earth on a mission?"

Dinah nodded. "Yes. He's shown an understanding of energy manipulation and detection. He might be able to sense something we can't."

Superman and Wonder Woman exchanged glances before nodding in agreement. "It's worth a try," Superman said. "His perspective could be invaluable."

Martian Manhunter added, "I agree. His abilities are unlike anything we've seen. We should utilize all available resources."

Batman, though reluctant, conceded. "Alright. But Dinah, you are responsible for him. Make sure he stays out of trouble."

Dinah nodded, her expression determined. "Understood."

Meanwhile, back in the depths of the ocean, Klarion continued to revel in his newfound power, his maniacal laughter echoing through the darkness as he surveyed the chaos he had wrought.

The creature he had embedded into the ocean bed—a grotesque imitation of the Greek monster Typhon or Typhan as he had named his own copy—siphoned large amounts of energy from the magical ley line, causing the ocean bed to quake with increasing intensity.

Klarion's eyes gleamed with malevolent delight as he turned to his familiar, Teekl. "How's that for sowing chaos?" he cackled, chuckling to himself. "Get it? Sowing chaos?" He awaited Teekl's response with an expectant grin.

Teekl, however, looked at him with a deadpan expression and meowed, the sound carrying an unmistakable tone of disdain. It was as if the cat was calling Klarion an idiot.

Klarion's grin faltered slightly. "Oh, come on, that was a good one!" he protested, folding his arms. "You have no sense of humor, Teekl."

As Klarion began to argue with his familiar, something massive lunged from the shadows behind him. Without turning, Klarion's eyes glowed a dark red, and an energy pulse erupted from his outstretched hand, striking the entity mid-leap. The creature—a colossal leviathan—let out a guttural roar as it began to disintegrate under Klarion's power.

Klarion finally turned to look at the disintegrating beast, his face morphing into its demonic form. "Know your place, vermin," he snarled, his voice dripping with contempt. The leviathan's remains crumbled into the dark waters, leaving no trace of its existence.

Returning his attention to Teekl, Klarion sighed dramatically.

"It's so hard to find good help these days. At least this Typhon knockoff is doing its job." He gestured to the monstrous creature embedded in the ocean bed, which continued to draw energy, its presence causing more quakes and disturbances.

Klarion's expression shifted to one of satisfaction. "With this much power, I'll plunge the world into chaos. The Light will finally see just how indispensable I am!" He laughed again, a chilling sound that echoed through the depths.

Teekl, still unimpressed, simply meowed again and settled down, clearly used to Klarion's theatrics. The cat then opened a portal and walked through, despite being underwater.

Seeing this, Klarion's eyes widened in annoyance. "Hey, wait, you stupid cat! How rude!" he exclaimed, moving after Teekl. The portal closed behind him, leaving only the echoes of the dead leviathan and the monstrous Typhan feeding on the energy of the sea.

The monstrosity began to pulse, as if breathing, and with each breath, it sucked in enormous amounts of energy, causing the disturbances to grow even stronger.
