Osenia felt a bit dizzy as she left the Governor's mansion—it was just a big house, after all.
At first, when she found out that the Governor wanted to see her, she was quite nervous.
She was generally confident, and after several months of hardship, she had even adopted a bit of a wild cat's demeanor, willing to fight and desperate to survive.
But she would still get nervous and feel out of place.
The hardships of the past few months had been so profound that, after arriving at the Governor's Camp and living a stable life without worrying about what to eat tomorrow or about safety, she treasured it immensely.
She worked hard in the textile factory, and because she could read better than most, she became a manager, implementing her ideas and experiences along with the knowledge from pre-war books she had read.
She thought she did quite well, but indeed, in some areas—not to say 'heretically'—at the very least, she was different from other factories and units.
