Song Yan's eyes twinkled with mirth as she watched the resident singer reluctantly take the stage; every inch of him radiated resistance, but he steeled himself and went up anyway.
His gaze swept towards their direction.
Song Yan gave him a sweet smile... clearly, there was no backing out now.
The resident singer had no choice but to accept his fate.
It was his own fault for running his mouth, saying that one thing he shouldn't have.
"Isn't that Song Yan, the big star?" A greasy male voice sounded next to Song Yan.
Song Yan couldn't be bothered to turn her head to acknowledge it.
She acted as if she had heard nothing.
But the man wasn't about to give up; he walked right up to her, leaning one hand on the bar and tilting his head to stare at Song Yan.
"It really is you. Big star, we meet again."
When the man leaned in, his breath was so repulsive that she frowned in disgust.
Song Yan shifted away, her distaste more than apparent in her expression.
