Capítulo 19: Chapter 19 Celebrating the Festival

Early in the morning, Fourth Master left for the palace with Fujin and Consort Fujin.

Second Prince Hongxin and the Elder Princess were taken along.

The mansion naturally had a number of princesses and concubines left behind.

Ye Zao got up later and was in no hurry. After all, the banquet was set up in the Hundred Flowers Pavilion next to the garden. Breakfast and lunch were still eaten by oneself.

Ye Zao didn't get up early for breakfast and so didn't eat much.

There wasn't much to do in the morning, so she took her fabric to the sewing room in the back courtyard.

"Could you please measure me for a dress? At my place, I have two maids who can sew, but they can't keep up. I was thinking of having a few made here. What do you think?" she said, slipping a purse to the woman.

The woman she called Auntie, named Hua Zhan, had been in the sewing room for over a decade.
