Dave has just left with Jack, excited and eager to meet his mate, and from what he tells us, she is indeed here, and if I understood correctly, which I'm pretty sure I did, well then, I know exactly who his mate is. One of my main tormentors…. Maddie. Thinking back, she did always act entitled, like she knew her and Ace were destined, she was so sure of herself and her position in this life. Like she knew some secret nobody else did. Was this the secret, the vision given to her father of her becoming Luna of a pack thanks to a Beta? But I can't believe she didn't know exactly what she was doing every single time she tormented me. I mean, this chick gave me freaking nightmares, she starved me, beat me, encouraged others to do the same, she body shamed me, by the time escaped Twin Lakes pack, she as much the demon I was running from as Ace was.
