Sylara gritted her teeth, fury bubbling up inside her. She had trained these creatures herself, melding them from various species through her dark magic. Each one was a masterpiece of genetic manipulation, designed for combat. They were supposed to be unstoppable, each one a lethal combination of strength and ferocity. Yet here they were, struggling against Draven's relentless assault.

The wolf-bear hybrid, nursing its wounded paw, growled and charged at Draven again. It was joined by the serpent and the two felines, all of them attacking in unison. The clearing was filled with the sounds of snarls, hisses, and the clash of steel against scales and fur.
