Capítulo 155: #4 and the Hidden Tunnel          

One of Kaelen's geomantic fissures, which had swallowed a horde of Shadowborne, created a chasm just wide enough for the little chick to tumble into.

The sudden drop caused him to roll uncontrollably, his tiny body bouncing off the walls of the fissure until he landed, dazed but unhurt, at the bottom. Above him, the battle raged on, but down here, he was momentarily shielded from the worst of the chaos.

As he shook off the disorientation, the chick noticed something — a narrow tunnel that branched off from the fissure, likely an ancient, forgotten burrow created by some desert creature long ago.

The tunnel was small, barely wide enough for the little chick to squeeze through, but that very narrowness made it perfect for him. The Shadowborne, with their hulking forms and relentless aggression, would never think to search such a tiny passageway, and even if they did, they would not fit.
