Capítulo 15: Saving A Friend
It was already night. Wiz showed Kazuma her shop. She found that Vanir was not there in the shop. Wiz taught Kazuma Drain touch as a token of their friendship. Kazuma asked her to inform him when Vanir came home. Wiz promised to do so. Kazuma vowed to stay silent about the masked mage who caused the zombie apocalypse. After that, Kazuma went back to his home, which was a mess. So he had to spend a lot of time cleaning the rooms.

Kazuma had to sleep until noon to get himself back to work. He took a long bath and refreshed himself. He was not in the mood to cook, so he decided to eat from outside. He went to the tavern. There, he met Luna. She was relieved to find Kazuma back in one piece. She inquired whether he had any clues about the masked mage. Kazuma lied, saying that he didn't know about her. Then he overhears people talking about an unknown hero who must have put evil in its place.
Kazuma is very happy to hear that they are cheering for him, even though none of them knows that the unknown hero they are talking about is him. Just as his ordered food arrived, Aqua and Yunyun entered the tavern. Aqua and Yunyun were seated beside him. They ordered their food as well.
Kazuma, while eating "So, how was your trip?"
Aqua "It is quite an experience; I loved it."
Kazuma looked at Yunyun and found her a little sad.
Kazuma "What's wrong, Yunyun? You look dismayed."
Yunyun with a sad tone "She lost a bet, and all our money is gone."
Kazuma: "A bet..."
Yunyun "Aqua played cards with some of the drunkards and lost to them five times in a row." Just when she finished talking, her stomach began to growl.

Aqua showed a tie and poked, "Let me eat something first. Geez, Kazuma, I am your goddess."
They waited for some time, and their food arrived. Just then, Mitsurugi and his friends came into the tavern. Megumin was also with them. Mitsurugi saw Aqua. He was shocked. He was even more shocked to see that she was eating along with Kazuma. Megumin was shocked to find Yunyun. Mitsurugi rushed to Aqua's side.
Mitsurugi "Aqua-sama, is that really you?"
Aqua looked at him while he was eating. She gave him a confused look.
Mitsurugi "I am Mitsurugi. You only sent me here to become the hero."
Aqua "I have sent so many of them here to get the job done. Let me think... Oh, I remember; you are that school guy who wanted that cursed sword."
Mitsurugi "Oh, you remember me. Thank you very much. Till now, I have been trying my best to reach your expectations."
Aqua with a boring tone "Yeah, yeah, I know..."
Megumin "A Goddess....?"
Yunyun interrupted, "I never expected to see you here, Megumin."
Megumin "Yeah, me too... What is your business with this loser?"
Yunyun "Will you please shut your mouth, Megumin? You are interrupting our peaceful lunch."
Megumin "You are the one who should stop? Yunyun." Both Yunyun and Megumin were having a tight conversation between them.

Mitsurugi "Aqua sama, Please join my team. I will take good care of you."
Aqua: "No need, thank you."
Mitsurugi "Aqua Sama, may I ask where you live?"
Aqua: "I am living in Kazuma's rented mansion."
Mitsurgui, while looking at Kazuma " What?? How insulting? How dare you make her live in a rented house? You must be a real loser to do such a thing to Lady Aqua."
Aqua "Yo, Mitsurugi or whatever, can you please stop and let me eat my food? I am really hungry right now."
Mitsurugi "Okay, Aqua-sama I get it. I will wait for you to finish it."
Aqua: "Ohh, great, thank you."
Kazuma didn't even bother about what was going on around him. He was just peacefully enjoying his meal. Then suddenly the guys who ceased all the money from Yunyun and Aqua showed up. They ganged around a table and ordered the waiter to get them the menu.
Aqua "Kazuma, Kazuma... look look... they are the ones who tricked us and ceased all our money."
Kazuma just looked at them.
Mitsurugi "What, these insects disrespected Aqua-sama? You will pay for that." With that said, Mitsurugi rushed towards their table.
Mitsurugi "Yo, who is the one who insulted Aqua-sama?"
Adventurer 1: "What are you talking about? And more importantly, who are you?"
Adventurer 2 "Hey, don't you get it, partner? He is trying to show off here."
Adventurer 3: "Pretty is an old move to impress a girl."
Adventurer 4: "If you want to take all the money back, then get it from us like a real man." He put the cards on the table.
Mitsurugi "Fine, then I will take you on and get back Aqua Sama's money."
Things took a turn from there. Mitsurugi lost all his money in one go. Then, in the second round, Mitsurugi's companions lost their money in one go. Then those adventurers challenged him to bet on his sword or his companions. Mitsurugi just got his sword back from a shop where Chris sold it for money. Mitsurugi can't lose for a third time in front of Aqua. The fact that she gave him a disappointed look in her face stirred him up. He was really dumbfounded the third time.
He lost for the third time. The other man asked him to give up on his sword or his companions. Mitsurugi was held in a very difficult situation. Mitsurgi grabbed his sword and ran out, shouting apologies to his companions. His companions were dumfounded. Then those adventurers turn their cunning eyes on the three of them. Clema and Fio ran out of the tavern, leaving behind Megumin. They feast their eyes on Megumin.
When she was about to run away, Megumin slipped and fell to the ground. They grabbed Megumin by her hands. Megumin seemed really hopeless right now. Just then, Kazuma stepped in and demanded to play with him. The four of them thought that it would be their lucky day. They played a match with Kazuma. Kazuma won the first round, and the villains were shocked. They called for another round. Kazuma won the second round too.
These villains got furious when they lost all their money. They decide to take it back forcefully. Kazuma freezes all four of them in a split second. The other people in the tavern were shocked. Kazuma split the money into three and gave the first one to Aqua, the second one to Yunyun, and he kept the third one for himself. Megumin felt really ashamed of her companions.
Kazuma walked up to Megumin and asked, "Do you have anything to say?"

Megumin said with great regret in her eyes, "Thank you."

Kazuma pointed his fingers at Megumin and cast a binding spell. A rope tied her up. She fell to the ground.
Megumin with a confused tone "What is the meaning of this kaza?"
Kazuma walked over to her and picked her up on his shoulder.
Megumin "Hey Kazuma, what are you doing? Put me down."
Megumin starts resisting.
Kazuma, with a cunning smile "Stop resisting, girl. I risked all my money to save your ass just now. Now your ass belongs to me. I am going to make you regret all the insults you give me. Look forward to it, Megumin; you are not getting any sleep tonight."
Megumin's face became pale. She starts resisting more. Kazuma used the drain touch on Megumin.
Megumin screamed.
Kazuma "Ha ha ha ha... it's no use, Megumin."
Megumin lost her consciousness within one minute.
Kazuma "Time to have a special drill."
Kazuma threw a bag of money over to the waiter and walked out of the tavern, carrying Megumin on his shoulders.
Aqua and Yunyun "She is done for..."
