Capítulo 141: Pizza and feelings

Zaya and I got into the car, with her taking the driver's seat as usual. My mind was a whirlwind of emotions, thoughts of Carmen swirling uncontrollably. I stared out the window, trying to make sense of what had just happened during the massage.

The sensation of her hands on my body, the heat between us, the unspoken words—it was all too much. I shouldn't feel this way, I told myself. But deep down, I was craving Carmen's touch, the way she made me feel.

"Elena, what do you want on the pizza?" Zaya's voice pulled me out of my reverie. I blinked and turned to her, realizing I hadn't heard a word she said.

"Uh, what? Sorry, I was just... thinking."

Zaya gave me a knowing look, her eyes soft with understanding. "I asked what you want on the pizza. We're ordering in, remember?"

I nodded, trying to focus. "Oh, right. Um, anything but anchovies, I guess."
