Grace smiled at him; she couldn't as she had school and was now with her mom. She wouldn't want to leave the country without her mom's approval, which she knows she will never approve.

"I have school; for how long will you be there? A day, a week, or?" she asked and hurried to the river, placing her hand in to feel the fresh water.

"A year or two," Raymond answered, and Grace chuckled.

"Stop playing with me, Ray."

He had a serious look, and this got her worried. She walked back towards him. "You are joking, right?"

"I am not."

She hit his chest angrily. "You want to leave for a year?"

If this wasn't a joke, then what the fuck was it? Raymond wasn't stupid; he was no coward, but he knew when it was time to lay low for a while, and this was definitely one of the times.

"That's why I am asking you to come with me; it will be just us... Ancaan, Thalie, and even Steph. No more fights and enemies," he explained.
