"I actually don't like your mom, but if I don't do what she wants, then she will ruin my career, so can we please be friends?"

"You lost me," Grace replied honestly, because she couldn't understand what Ling Ye was saying.

"I care for Raymond; I care for him a lot. We grew up together, and I believe only you could save him from your mother," she said, and Grace became curious: did her mom plan to hurt Raymond?

"If she asks him to kill himself, then he will, because she is his master. The reason Raymond is so loyal to her is because she saved him from Kei and also raised him like her pet. So whatever she asks of him, he is forced to do it."

Grace's eyes widened in shock. Was her mom that type of person?
