Capítulo 226: Moving Alone

Borusalino took a cautious step back.

"Boris, I can care for him alone," Stussy argued.

"Whether or not you can fight him is solely up to you, but the results of this fight has ruined the ship. We won't be able to go to East Blue with this ship," I replied, looking over the wreckage.

"Hm~ I guess this is a good time to get out of here; I wouldn't want to start a fight with you~" Borusalino smiled before turning to light and leaving the ship.

Stussy didn't seem too happy about the fight's outcome, but she quickly took flight and returned to Water 7 regardless, leaving me alone on the slowly sinking ship. There was no doubt that Stussy would be seeing the soon-to-be Admiral soon. So the best she could do was wait until that time came.

As the ship began to sink, I entered the cabin and grabbed my coat. I left it there for quite some time because I did not need to use it. Now I had to wait and get the new ship to do shit like that.

I finally left the ship before landing on Water 7, where I sensed Stussy and the crew with Observation Haki. Landing, I happened to drop into a conversation between Stussy and Ken.

"I think I can beat him after a bit of training," Ken declared as he played with some lightning.

"I felt like I could, too, but he had more experience with his Devil Fruit than me. Even his Haki was better than mine; I'm going to need to train a lot," Stussy muttered as she looked at her hand.

"You can train all you want here because I'm going to East Blue by myself," I interrupted Ken before he could start talking.

"Couldn't we wait until the ship's completed? I want to see the execution too," Stussy protested.

"Well, if the ship is done before the execution, you're more than welcome to head over and look, but as of now, we don't have a ship to use to get to East Blue," I replied.

"What if we borrowed a ship?" Ken asked.

"Maybe? If you can get yourself a ship sailing to East Blue and back, I won't stop you," I replied.

"When will you be leaving for East Blue?" Stussy asked.

"Right now."

"Do you want me to come with you?" Stussy asked.

"Didn't you say you wanted to get some training done?" I asked.

"Fair point," Stussy's argument was immediately shut down.

Growing out my wings, I immediately took to the skies before heading to East Blue. I hadn't sensed Borusalino from where I was.

As I flew, I began to see more and more Marine Ships patrol about. I even saw a pirate ship getting sunk by a bombardment of Marine cannons.

Eventually, I managed to make my way towards the Reverse Mountain. It was pretty odd how the water moved around the mountain. However, now wasn't the time; I quickly passed the mountain and started looking for the closest populated island.

This was my first time entering the Blues, so I had no clue where East Blue was. Something that I should have asked for before I abruptly took off from the place.

Fortunately, I managed to find a pretty large island that wasn't too far from where I had been flying; I quickly landed on the town square before looking for the nearest map store that I could find.

Landing in the middle of the town square proved frightening for the townsfolk. Because the ones closest to where I had landed immediately began fleeing from me while screaming. If I wasn't wrong, the approaching presences that I sensed with Observation Haki was probably the Marines or the authoritative figures for the island.

I guess I'd ask them where the map store was, or at least where I could buy a map of the blues.

Soon enough, the crowds made way for a squad of Marines. They all immediately aimed their rifles at me. Looking at their expressions, it was more than obvious that they were already aware of my identity.

"Storm Dragon Boris!! We won't let you act as you wish on this island!! The Rear-Admiral has been informed and is on their way here!!" One Marine shouted at me.

"Do you guys know a store where I can buy a map? I'm trying to get to East Blue, and this place is confusing as hell," I asked.

"The only place you'll be going to is Impel Down!!" Another Marine snapped at me.

I sighed as I kept trying to look around for a store that had a map. Eventually, I found one that the Marine Squadrain was blocking.

Promptly walking towards it, I reached where the Marines were pointing their rifles at me. Looking down on the Marine soldier, I asked him politely.

"You mind?"

"I won't let you!" The Marine soldier sputtered as he aimed the barrel of his rifle right on my forehead.

I promptly released my Conqurer's Haki. I didn't release too much because I only wanted to knock out the Marines, but I knocked out the store owner, who had the map out.

I picked up the map before looking at its contents. I didn't seem to get too much out of it because I still didn't know what Island I was in. I looked toward the next conscious person who had happened to be nearby.

"What's the name of this island?"

"I-it's called Bjornford Island....East Blue is towards that direction," The man pointed out the general direction he spoke.

"Thanks."

I immediately took off in the direction that he had pointed out. I didn't need to worry about the credibility of the man's words because I could always circle back and kill him if I needed to. So I kept soaring through the skies as I passed by some Marine ships.

Marine presence kept getting heavier and heavier the more I kept flying. Indicating that I was probably traveling in the right direction. Looking at the map, I recognized some places on the map that I was staring at in real time.

'Judging from the way I'm traveling, Lougetown should be a few days out from where I am'

I decided to keep on flying till I got there. Though it was rare, it didn't take much out of me to fly for a few days. Hell, I think I could travel non-stop for an entire fortnight if I had to, but I didn't like doing so because of how tedious it would make me.

Eventually, an island littered with endless ships could be seen on the horizon. The closer I got, the more I could distinguish that all of them were Marine ships.

I eventually landed on an area that wasn't too infested with Marine presence. The date for the execution was coming up in the next four days. Until then, I was going to take a little nap in a hotel room somewhere.

I started looking around for a nearby hotel that looked decent. I wasn't going to sleep on a bed infested with bed bugs. Eventually, I found a quiet little inn that would fit my needs.

I got in and immediately got a room and ordered food while at it. Soon after eating, I passed out in my room and didn't wake up till the morning of the execution.
