Capítulo 31: Back to the blacksmithing guild
Pottery wares didn't sell that well as Virtya's pottery items remained in the stores with almost no sales recorded which was an absolute loss to Virtya because he had to pay the potters for their work but there was no sales achieved thus, Virtya got a loss of 10, 000 gold coins.
'I have to come up with the best money making item to tinker which will then give me a lot of money but what is that item when I don't even have enough money to finance important projects?' Virtya asked himself while still seated in his office block. The technology book could not help him at this moment since he needed money to fabricate what was recorded on that book of which he didn't have that money, thus, Virtya came up with a plan that will help him to get income to cover the gap that was created by Chanya project.
As one should know, at this time, the whole of Chanya had already been covered by barley plantation and sisal plantation and what Virtya was waiting was the harvesting season which was in August or September depending on how the crops would behave.
"I will mass fabricate the carriages and furniture products." Virtya finally decided on the item that he was going to work on with the little amount of money that he had.
There was a market gap in the carriage making industry in Azuhai kingdom and the Southern continent as a whole. After all, a kingdom like Azuhai usually bought its carriages from the kingdom of Litbridge. Litbridge kingdom was from the Northern continent.
As one should know, this world had four big continents and that was the Southern continent, Northern continent, Western continent and the Eastern continent. Azuhai kingdom and it's neighbours were situated on the Southern continent.
Actually, there were builders in the Southern continent who were making the carriages but what they made was of low quality, aesthetic, durability and it lacked the craftsmanship that the nobles and the rich wanted thus, the carriages made by the locals was only preferred by the paupers but the rich usually imported their carriages from abroad. Virtya planned to use this window to initiate carriage making that had the best craftsmanship from the modern world. With this, Virtya was assured of both success and a market for his merchandise.
"In the future, I will install the steam engine in the carriages to propel them without the use of horses or oxen." Virtya murmured before he began to draw the components of the carriages and the furnitures from his modern world.
Very early in the morning, Virtya and his minions boarded the carriages while other knights rode on their horses.
They were going back to the blacksmithing guild and this time, Virtya was not planning to fabricate the farm tools but to fabricate something else.
One should know that Virtya bought the iron ingots from the Litkesh kingdom at the ridiculous prices that they asked for but at least he now had the raw materials to work with.
And just as usual, Nataschenka was all smiles when she saw the arrival of king Virtya. The king's project especially of the farming tools had enabled the blacksmithing to fetch alot of money as wages received after the successful sale of the tools, thus, Nataschenka was over the moon to receive more from king Virtya.
"That's king Virtya. My king, my leader. I will not allow anyone to slander him."
"I don't know what work he has brought to us this time round. Fabrication of the farm tools was a success and it enabled me to buy land from the big salary that I got. I hope we are going to make something even more valuable this time round."
"I heard that the king is planning to make a flying wheel, what is that. Can someone explain it to.me."
The blacksmiths were exited because they knew that Virtya's coming brought money in to their pockets.
The carriages stopped and the knights accompanied Virtya to the guild building.
This time round, there was no umbrella shield being used but it was just that close to 50 highly trained knights walked side by side with Virtya without allowing anyone to reach closer to him.
At last Virtya was led to the guild meeting room. And from the guild's door to this place, Virtya had seen several improvements upon this building after the refurbishment. The guild building looked almost new.
"I have a little project that will keep me here for a month at least. After this project, we will have to do something else but what I want you to do right now is to look for more labourers who will do some lumbering at Lithao forest. I want timber and much of it." Virtya ordered Tanya. The slaves that helped him in Chanya were not enough as some had been taken to pottery, textile and a few were still working on maintaining Chanya farm.
