Evelyn was holding Daemon's arm, her attention not on the target of their shopping spree, but on his profile, with a gentle smile on her lips.

"How do you think Dinaia and Ryan's date went?"

It was already close to the end of the afternoon, a few hours after the event Evelyn was asking about. Daemon was holding a basket in his free hand, the shopping for vegetables and ingredients Evelyn managed to leave the office earlier for turning into a date of some kind.

"That depends on Dinaia."

"How so?"

The woman really didn't look like she was interested in the reason they came where they were. She looked happy being with Daemon while focusing all her interest on the subject.

Daemon shook his head slightly, but his small smile showed that he didn't mind the small bit of helplessness he was feeling.

"If Dinaia managed to make Ryan look at her, then she will have a small chance."

Evelyn frowned slightly:

"And if not?"
