Anlan felt her food get stuck in her throat. She choked on the food coughing, Chengxiao quickly grabbed a bottle water from the table and fed it to her.
Anlan Brent her head slightly trying to catch her breath and regain herself before looking up.
"Are you alright?"Chengxiao asked worriedly and Anlan nodded still not able to get her up her words
"I'm sorry"Chengxiao apologized with a low voice
"What sort of joke was that Chengxiao you almost made me loose my self"Anlan scolded angrily
"Joke? You think it was a joke...Anlan I truly love you I truly do I just want you to accept me and I promise to be the best"Chengxiao said with a dreamy eyes
"What? Love? Chengxiao what are you saying? ..I don't understand okayAnlan said confused
"Anlan please just give me a chance"Chengxiao said and held Anlan's hand but she shared it off quickly
"Chengxiao I don't think you're okay you should go home and get some rest... this isn't the right place to play such a joke"Anlan said and stood up to leave but Chengxiao held her back
"Anlan I'm not joking and I'm alright.. I'm in my right mind and I love you so much I would do anything just for you to love me back"Chengxiao said
"Well I will never love you back Chengxiao"Anlan said calmly and gradually removed her hand from his
"Anlan please just give me a chance I promise that you won't regret it"Chengxiao said not ready to let go of her hands
"I don't want to..I think we should also break up our friendship we can't continue anymore and I hope you understand why"Anlan said and smiled bitterly and walked
Chengxiao felt his heart tighten, the pains he felt in his heart were unbearable. Tears rolled out of his eyes slowly, this was what he was scared of loosing her completely he knew that telling her about his feelings was risking his friendship with her completely but he decided to risk it because he felt that she loved him too but now it seems like she only saw him just as a friend
Anlan walked outside angrily she never thought that one day Chengxiao was going to be like the other boys she had avoided. She remembered how she explained to him how she needed someone who was only going to be her friend and needed nothing more from her but it seems like he couldn't resist either that means that his act as her friend all this while was nothing but a way to gain her heart to himself.
Anlan glanced at his new car which was parked in the parking lot with other car her face grew darker was this car also to impress her? The rich restaurant and food? What did he take her for?
Anlan quickly stopped a taxi and got in and the car drove out immediately

Chengxiao buried his head in his arms on the table he was truly devasted and his greatest fear had come to reality. Did she only see him as a friend and nothing more? Was that the only thing she was to him in her heart? Well that didn't matter anymore because he has already completely lost a place in her heart and he knew it was hard to regain
Someone walked up to his table and sat on the chair across him. Chengxiao raised his head slowly to see a girl dressed sophisticatedly with make up and his face darkened. She was beautiful but he always seemed to get irritated by ladies who used too much make up and perfume
"What do you want?"Chengxiao asked coldly
"I saw what happened here with Anlan"Xu Yihuan said putting on a pitiful appearance
"Anlan? How did you get to know her?"Chengxiao asked curiously
"Oh don't mind my manner.. I'm Xu Yihuan Anlan's friend in University"Xu Yihuan explained smiling innocently
"Hmm"Chengxiao replied after getting his suspicion clear
"I didn't expect to refuse such a cute man like you even after knowing that she can get freedom from the horrible place she works at"Xu Yihuan said
Chengxiao face darkened he truly didn't like the kind of work she did but he knew that Anlan wouldn't stoop herself low to do such things.
"If you don't have anything to say you can leave"Chengxiao said angrily
"I want to help you get Anlan"Xu Yihuan said and smiled
"How?"Chengxiao asked
"Not so fast handsome face.. let's exchange contact and I'll tell you when it's time"Xu Yihuan said putting on a serious look
