Meanwhile, Kaito arrived in Tokyo and drove to his parents' house. Upon arriving at the mansion, the gates were opened, and he entered. Once inside, he headed to the main door, where he was greeted by two rows of servants and butlers. Seeing him step out of the car, they said in unison, "Welcome home, Young Master Kaito." Accustomed to such receptions, Kaito nodded slightly in greeting and entered the house, making his way to a particular room.
Upon entering the room, he found his mother chatting with her personal maid. Upon seeing him enter, his mother smiled and said, "Oh, my baby is back, come and greet mama." At this, Kaito smiled at his mother's antics and approached her to embrace her, saying, "It's always good to see you, mama." His mother, upon hearing this, smiled back and said, "It's always good to see you well too, and now sit down, we have much to talk about." Kaito nodded and sat down, while the maid served him tea.
As he enjoyed his tea, his mother said with a smile, "So, will you tell me whose woman's perfume you had?" Upon hearing this, Kaito arched his eyebrow slightly, but for his mother, that meant a yes, so she continued with a smile, "So my dear Kaito has found a woman who interests him, what are you waiting for? Tell your mother what she's like." Kaito, sighing at his mother's shrewdness, replied, "Always as sharp as ever." He then proceeded to tell her how he met Nanaka and what their relationship was like.
His mother listened attentively to Kaito's story, and when he finished, she said with a big smile, "So the name of the woman who stole your heart is Nanaka, huh? You should bring her next time so that mother can get to know her better." Kaito nodded and promised that next time he would bring her along. After this, they continued talking about different topics until the door to the room opened again and Kaito's father entered, greeting his wife and sitting down beside her.
Kaito's father looked at his son with a smile and said, "Finally, you show up. Everyone at the company was worried about your early return." Upon hearing this, Kaito's mother said to her husband with a smile, "Darling, guess what, our Kaito has fallen in love." Upon hearing this, Kaito's father was surprised and looked at his son, saying, "Oh, so that's why you took so long to come back. You should have said so earlier, and I would have bought you more time." Kaito, hearing this, said to his father, "It's not necessary, this couldn't be postponed. I'll finish it quickly and then go to her." Upon hearing this, his father said with a smile, "You're in deep, huh?" Kaito, in response, smiled longingly, "I love her." His father nodded, while his mother, with tears in her eyes, said, "Oh, my baby has grown up."
In the following weeks, Kaito spent most of his time at his father's company to finish his latest project, Tissue Bio-printing. This project promised to help millions of people around the world, so it was essential to finish it. In early April, Kaito was able to complete his project and agreed with his father on when to present it to the world. He then remembered that Nanaka's birthday was approaching on April 13, so he personally took his car and drove to the nearest mall.
After buying the gift, he went to his parents' house to greet them, as he was about to leave again. His mother hugged him and said, "Remember, next time you come, bring Nanaka so that mama can meet her." Kaito nodded and promised that next time he would bring Nanaka with him. His father shook his hand and told him to take care and not make them grandparents too soon. At this, Kaito's mother laughed, and Kaito sighed, bidding them farewell with a smile.
For this occasion, he would bring the best car from his collection, his beautiful Nissan Skyline R-34, based on the movie "Fast and Furious 2". This was his greatest pride, and he only drove it on special occasions like this. Therefore, he set out to take it out and drove to Nanaka's house.
Meanwhile, near the Kotegawa family's diving shop, a group of muscular men, including Shinji Tokita and Ryuujirou Kotobuki, excitedly said, "Today is Nanaka-san's birthday, so there will be a big party, and if there's a party, there's alcohol." Shinji, upon hearing his friend, said with a smile, "All you have in mind is alcohol, hahaha." While they talked among themselves and with their friends, suddenly they heard the sound of an incredible engine, and turning around, they saw something that left them all speechless.
"Hey, is that what I think it is?"
"Pinch me to see if I'm dreaming."
"It's a freaking Nissan Skyline R-34, what a machine!"
An auto specialist who was with the group began to tell everyone: "Wow, what a surprise! That's a true Japanese classic. Look at the details: the clean lines, the rear spoiler, the widened fenders. It's really impressive." Another added, "Yes, and that silver paint highlights every curve of its body. It's a masterpiece of automotive design!"
The first man spoke again: "Absolutely. And we can't overlook its heart, that RB26DETT engine. Just hearing that characteristic roar, you know you're in front of a true speed icon."
After seeing this magnificent scene, all the enthusiasts grouped around the car and waited expectantly to see who the owner of such a car was. Tokita and Ryuujirou were equally expectant and also wondered why the car had stopped near the diving shop.
As the car door opened, a stylish young man stepped out. There were no words to describe him, and seeing him, the guys were stunned. However, their expression changed to one of total disbelief when they saw Nanaka running out of the diving shop and throwing herself into the man's arms, giving him a kiss on the lips.
All the guys, upon seeing this, were incredulous. Even more surprised were Tokita and Ryuujirou, who knew Nanaka very well. Such was their surprise that they all said in unison, "What!"
