Capítulo 45: FORTY-FIVE

It's been two days since the gala, Ivan and I haven't exactly been the same. You can't blame me for being mad at him, he was really wrong and I felt beyond humiliated. I wonder if he really had nothing to do with that Jessica or was it Jennifer, whatever her name is.

He has hidden a lot from me recently that I find it hard to trust him on anything says. Everything was complicated in his book, he makes me feel like he doesn't trust me enough to tell me the truth about things.

As I went about my day in the house, pretending not to notice his presence which I have done in the past two days. I was on one end of the living room watching him type away on his phone, I couldn't help but wonder if it was work, his friends or his supposed woman.

The doorbell rang, catching both our attention. I wouldn't know if he was expecting someone, afterall, I have been ignoring him. He looked at me and I looked away as if I hadn't been staring at him all along.
