Capítulo 77: Chapter 77 I have the same personality as Slytherin

Ms. Gray?

Andy was speechless, this female ghost couldn't have been eavesdropping from the side, right?

What happened to the promised high and mighty attitude?

Ms. Grey is the Ravenclaw Ghost, legend has it that she is high and aloof, and although she will guide the lost little wizards, most of the time she stays in the tower by herself and seldom pays attention to outsiders.

Why was she so idle tonight?

"Ms. Gray, are you a ghost from a thousand years ago?" Andy asked.

Ms. Gray didn't answer, she just looked at Andy fixedly, "Do you still think that Lady Ravenclaw would give up her overwhelming wisdom for her daughter?"

How did it come to this issue again? Andy was speechless.

Ms Grey was indeed eavesdropping on Andy's conversation with Hermione.

Although she was called Ms. Grey, she wasn't really Ms. Grey.

Her real name was Helena Ravenclaw, the daughter of Rowena Ravenclaw.

When she overheard that the two young wizards were trying to find the secret that Ms. Ravenclaw had left behind, she secretly followed them.

At first, Ms. Grey didn't care.

Because every year, a few young wizards were trying to find the secrets left behind by the four founders, and she had long since become accustomed to it.

Perhaps, she just wanted to find a little fun in her slow life.

But when she heard Andy's words, she couldn't be calm anymore.

She wondered if her mother was really willing to exchange her wisdom to get her daughter back.

With a few hints of expectation, Ms. Gray hid in the shadows, wanting to hear what else Andy would say later.

But who would have thought that the more Andy analysed, the more he deviated from his initial thoughts.

In the beginning, the Ravenclaw was trying to retrieve her daughter.

Immediately after that, Ravenclaw wanted to pursue the ancient legends.

In the end, Ravenclaw wanted to explore the origin of magic.

Sure enough, men are fickle.

But it had to be said that Andy's thoughts were gradually approaching the truth.

For wizards like the Big Four, who stood on the ceiling of the entire magical world, there were not many secrets in the magical world that could interest them anymore.

And the origin of magic was one of them.

But Ms Gray was more interested in knowing whether Andy, who had guessed these things, would still stick to his initial thought?

Even if, it was just a comfort that could never be verified.

"Of course!"

The one who answered was Hermione, she said with vigour, "What parent in the world doesn't love their children? If I were a Lady Ravenclaw, I'd be willing to trade my wits to get my daughter back, too."

Such childish remarks...

Ms. Grey ignored Hermione, she just looked at Andy, she was more interested in hearing Andy's answer.

This little wizard dared to compare his intelligence with Ravenclaw.

Very arrogant and cocky!

"Well..."

Andy pondered for a moment.

Ms. Gray was serious, and Andy didn't want to perfume her.

It was very likely that this ghost knew something from a thousand years ago, perhaps Andy could dig out some secrets from her mouth.

If it was me...

Andy thought, would I give up some of my accomplishments in magic for the sake of affection?

Well, Ms Ravenclaw was not Andy Collins.

"I think she would."

Andy gave his answer solemnly, "The story I heard may not have been the truth. But in that story, Lady Ravenclaw never blamed her daughter."

"At least, she didn't retrieve her lost diadem."

Ms. Grey fell silent at that.

Of course, she knew that her mother loved her, and that was the reason she had never been able to forgive herself.

Now that she heard Andy say that, she was only more unable to forgive her once foolish self.

"During her lifetime, Lady Ravenclaw did explore the origins of magic."

After a moment of silence, Ms. Gray suddenly said, "Not only her, but all four founders were pursuing this secret. In order to search for the origin of magic, Slytherin even built a secret chamber in the castle and did a lot of forbidden magical experiments."

Hermione sceptically questioned, "Didn't Slytherin build the Chamber of Secrets to remove those he deemed unworthy of learning magic?"

At the mention of this, Hermione couldn't help but get angry.

Did muggles eat your family's rice?

Ms. Grey gave Hermione a look, "Times were different a thousand years ago than they are now, there were no secrecy laws in the wizarding world, many dark wizards were brutalizing muggles, and muggles were banding together to fight against wizards."

"They eliminated dissenters and satisfied their selfish desires in the name of catching witches, and persecuted many people for it."

"Slytherin realized that once the wizarding world went to war with the muggle world, those wizards who came from muggle families would never be on the side of the wizarding world."

"That's why he proposed that only children of wizarding birth be taught magic."

Ms. Gray briefly described the situation a thousand years ago before continuing, "Slytherin built the Chamber of Secrets just to study magic better, and he would also hold regular gatherings there to teach some of the dangerous magic to the younger wizards in the school."

"Those rumours you have heard were just deliberately misinterpreted by later generations."

Hearing Ms Gray say that, Hermione's expression instantly improved.

Andy, on the other hand, looked odd.

Was the Slytherin persona clashing with his own?

Uh...it couldn't be entirely described that way.

Let's just say that Slytherin did what Andy wanted to do the most.

Secret labs, forbidden magic experiments, fooling the young wizards, and finally leaving Hogwarts...

Didn't he also have a snake?

That would be pretty imposing!

It was just Slytherin was dead, or else Andy would have had to find him sooner or later to duel on top of Hogwarts.

There could only be one Lord in the jungle.

There could only be one Uncle Snake in the magic world as well!

Andy suddenly asked, "Since the four bigs are all pursuing the origin of magic, what is the final result?"

"There was no result."

Ms. Gray floated to the window, her eyes gazing at the half-moon outside the window, her ghostly voice carrying a few points of despondency, "It was unfruitful!"

"How do you find the origins of magic ...?"

"History? Ancient magic? Bloodlines? Or the soul?"

Bloodline?

The other points Andy could understand, but... what did this have to do with bloodlines?

Wait a minute!

There wasn't really someone trying to fuse the bloodlines of magical creatures, was there?

Andy had seen such assumptions.

But...if a wizard's magic power originated from magical creatures, then where did magical creatures' magic power originate from?

What was the difference between that and 'the chicken, or the egg, came first'?

"Ms. Gray!"

Hermione asked curiously, "Do you know the secret Lady Ravenclaw left behind here?"

Ms. Grey slowly turned back, "Lady Ravenclaw values knowledge and wisdom more than anything else."

After saying that, Ms. Grey disappeared through the wall.

Kind of interesting.

Andy's eyes flickered, this Ms Gray, couldn't she be the Ravenclaw's daughter?

Otherwise, why would she care so much about Ravenclaw's attitude towards her daughter?

"Knowledge and wisdom?" Hermione looked at Andy, hoping that Andy would help her analyse it.
