I bit my lower lip to stifle my tears, but I couldn't help but feel emotional. I don't know why, but it felt like my breathing became easier because of Zairon's words... I thought he wouldn't show any care for me anymore.

He quickly took off his jacket and carefully placed it over my body. He kept cursing as he could almost see my body, even though I was still wearing my bra.

"I-I'm okay.. Zairon," I weakly said.

"You're not okay. That bāstard molested you. I won't forgive myself. I won't forgive anyone who touches you. Damn it!" He cursed while hugging me. I looked at Zachary, who was now standing as if nothing happened.

"You really fell in love, and you're even obsessed," We heard him laugh. His face was bruised but it didn't seem to bother him. He stood up straight, crossed his arms and leaned against the wall. He smiled genuinely, making his bruised face look softer. "What happened to your promise that you would never fall in love with anyone?"
