I was so tired from the fight that I just carelessly fell down and laid on the grass.

"Can you call someone to fetch you here? I need to gather up my mana."

"But what about Claire? Are you just gonna leave her like that?"

"Leave her be. I doubt it if she's gone far away considering the damage she took from us. So if you wanna look for her then go, I'll just stay here to cure my wounds first."

Angela didn't speak anymore as she called someone on her smartwatch.

"Dad... Can you send someone to pick me up?"

{Why? Did something happen to you?}

"No, it's just that-"

I don't want to listen to their conversation so I focused on gathering my mana.

A while later, she sat down beside me. It was silent for the whole minute when I decided to broke the awkward silence.

"Why didn't you say that you were attacked by a Rogue?"

"I don't want to worry my dad anymore. Also, I just wanna say... thank you and sorry."
