Hearing the story from Eldrin's point of view gave Gresvin an idea of what had happened, but he did not conclude the investigation on the spot. Instead, he turned to the two groups, turned to Daffyd, and asked, "And how is it that from being only here to intervene you got yourself fired up and spitting insults?"
Daffyd laughed somewhat embarrassingly, but he told his part, "Wel, at first I heard a bit of the conversation between him and Eldrin as I walked past and decided to see if I could be of assistance. After listening to Eldrin, I concluded that the man wanted to scam us, considering the fact that he did not even negotiate a price of reasonable fairness, nor showed his goods."
"So I took action and I guessed they should be from Brynfawr. I wanted to keep being refined and did not want to lash out but… um, Lord, you see there is a sort of… rivalry between our villages. Well my former village and theirs." he coughed sheepishly.
