Capítulo 227: The temple (1)

Damon moved slowly and cautiously forward with a nightcrawler in front of him. Even though he could see fine into that darkness, he didn't rush. The corridor he seemed to have landed on was brimming with nightcrawlers resting, eating, and mating. 

The sight of so many snake-like creatures entangled in each other sent shivers through Damon's spine. If his concealment disappeared for even the tiniest moment, he would find himself lost inside the swarm of crawlers. 

After moving for a while, Damon noticed an entrance to a chamber. When he peered inside, he saw the room crawling with creatures. There was barely any place to maneuver inside.

'Should I enter or not?' Damon deliberated his options. He knew the longer he remained inside, the higher the chances of encountering danger. 

But at the same time, this was a level few reached when exploring the crypt. The probability of finding resources inside would be higher than in the earlier corridors.
