The Holy Light descending from the sky and the roar from deep underground, though both were intangible, seemed to truly collide with each other. The intense collision at the ground caused countless explosions to appear out of thin air.
The earth shattered, and houses and buildings were reduced to ruins.
Both sides in the battle were engulfed in the incessant explosions, but the Paladins were far more comfortable than the Undead. Since James Watson's Divine Intervention was mainly to assist his own people, a majority of the Lord of the Dawn's power went into bolstering the Paladins' defenses and healing their injuries.
The dead Paladins could not be revived, but those with a breath left in them were all saved.
Not only that, they were also empowered with a strong Holy Light, remaining unscathed amid the severe explosions.
Even James Watson's own undead state had been cured, and he would be immune to such a curse for a long time.
