"Huh???" I muttered in surprise and confusion.

This female grunt commander had suddenly tried to recruit me. She closed in on me all of a sudden, her face almost touching mine. As I was taller than her (and most of my fellow grunts here), she had to cutely tiptoe to reach my face, emphasizing her eagerness to recruit me.

"Whoa! Hold on there," I quickly grasped both of her shoulders, pushing her back slightly due to how close she was to my face. "Just... calm down for a moment, alright?"

"Ah! My apologies," No. 450 looked quite flustered as she took a step back. A faint blush spread across her cheeks as she realized she had come on a bit too strong. "I was just a bit excited for a moment. Haha~."
