Aaron relaxed inside the room that belonged to Elder Lin — now Artemis — at the moment. The young man took up a comfortable space, resting a cheek on his fist while seated with a kingly pose.

He sat and listened to Artemis, looking at her beautiful figure like a proud father would look at his child who had grown to take care of themselves. Artemis went on and on about her journey since arriving in this world and what had transpired in her own life.

"Is that so?" Aaron said, adding yet another intermittent contribution to the conversation even though Artemis did all the talking.

Artemis held her ankle and nodded enthusiastically. "Mmm! We thought we'd never see you again after you were taken captive back in Agagorth."

Aaron laughed as he recalled the day of his arrest by the knights that served under the united banner of the Council Of A Score of Kings.
