The bustling atmosphere of Florittle's airport was a far cry from the quiet isolation Liam had been used to over the past week after his accident.

Against Cora and Derek's wish, Liam had left Zeden just as he had told them he would leave. After what his mother did to him, he knew he needed a fresh start.

Away from his past and from the memories of Fiona in Zeden. Now that he knew she didn't leave him and that she was a gold digger, he had been finding it hard to think of her as all he could do was blame himself and feel bad for doubting their love.

He couldn't help thinking that if he hadn't doubted her then maybe he would've been able to find her and would've gotten her back. But now it was too late and he'd have to live with that.

As he stepped out of the terminal, the familiar scent of the coastal city filled his lungs, but there was a new heaviness in his chest.
