Seung rolled over the ground, narrowly escaping the millipede's crushing blow. The impact sent tremors through the earth, reverberating up his spine. Dust erupted around him, stinging his eyes and filling his nostrils with the dry, acrid scent of disturbed soil. Gritting his teeth, he groaned, his voice rough and strained, "This isn't over yet."
With a grunt, Seung forced himself to his feet, every muscle in his body protesting the movement. His skin was slick with sweat, the cool air only offering brief relief as it kissed his overheated flesh. But there was no time to rest. His heart hammered in his chest, each beat urging him forward. Fixing his gaze on the monstrous millipede before him, he lunged, his determination unshaken.
