Chapter 151: Battle with Tang Hao!
"Tang Hao, I'm not like the others. I won't judge your actions from some moral high ground."
"Whatever you choose to do is your business. Even if you're no longer the person you once were, to the Clear Sky Sect, you're still the Clear Sky Douluo willing to sacrifice everything for the clan."
"What happens to the Blue Silver Emperor is also none of my concern. I can only say I respect the fate of others..."
Kong paused briefly before continuing, "Although I won't judge your actions, you actually dared to come here and assassinate me. I can't just let that go."
Kong was well aware that Tang Hao was not a righteous man. Yet, he had never sought to make an enemy of him. Who would have thought Tang Hao would see him as someone with a death wish?
Well, there was no other choice. Today, if he didn't kill Tang Hao here, he would never be at peace!
Repay grievances with virtue?
He was never that kind of person!
Blood for blood, tooth for tooth!
"Boy, how arrogant!"
Tang Hao almost laughed in anger, practically shouting.
With a flick of his wrist, he raised the Clear Sky Hammer high above his head, swinging it down toward Kong.
No more words—he'd kill this kid first and settle things later.
Further talk would only risk an accident.
At Tang Hao's level, even a casual strike was not something an ordinary Soul Saint could withstand.
"Remember, every wave in the river pushes forward the one before it!"
Kong narrowed his eyes, gripping his blade, Engulfing Lightning, as he lifted it to parry the descending Clear Sky Hammer.
A crisp clang echoed as the hammer and blade met, resonating in the air.
Kong's stance and the upward slash were at a disadvantage in terms of force—attacking from below upward couldn't match the momentum of a downward strike.
Yet, the impact left both their expressions unchanged, an equal match.
This revelation changed Tang Hao's expression!
He never expected Kong to be this powerful! A mere Soul Saint, holding his own in raw power against a Super Douluo like him! And on top of that, he'd even held a minor edge in technique.
"I underestimated you!"
Tang Hao's gaze sharpened, ready to get serious.
Retracting the Clear Sky Hammer, he raised it again, pivoted on his right foot, and spun in place before swinging down at Kong with increased force.
This was the Chaotic Cloak Hammer Technique, a move that stacked power with each spin. Tang Hao had perfected this skill to an art form.
Seeing this, Kong sneered, thinking only fools in the original story allowed members of the Clear Sky Sect to fully unleash this technique before attacking!
Wouldn't that be idiotic?
Kong half-squatted, slashing Engulfing Lightning horizontally, aiming for Tang Hao's legs.
He didn't believe Tang Hao wouldn't defend. If he didn't, he'd be sacrificing his legs!
Tang Hao, mid-swing, was caught off-guard by Kong's unpredictable move. Why wasn't he following the standard tactics?! He was supposed to clash with his spirit power, yet here he was, going for Tang Hao's legs.
To make it worse, whose idea was it to trade life for injury like this?
If Tang Hao didn't defend, Kong would be left mortally wounded under this strike.
But at the same time, Tang Hao's legs wouldn't survive either!
Trading blows like this with Kong wasn't worth it.
After all, he was just a Soul Saint!
In the end, Tang Hao instinctively took a few steps back, halting his Chaotic Cloak Hammer Technique.
"Kid, who taught you to fight like that? Are you trying to get yourself killed?"
Tang Hao asked, puzzled, but his assault didn't stop. Raising the Clear Sky Hammer, he once again swung it at Kong.
"To exchange blows with a Super Douluo? I'd say it's worth it."
Kong chuckled in response.
"You're a madman!"
As Tang Hao spoke, the air around them suddenly grew frigid, transforming into a "white world."
"Killing God Domain!"
"To think the esteemed Clear Sky Douluo would use a domain against a mere Soul Saint—aren't you feeling a bit shameless?"
Kong's expression remained unchanged as he taunted.
"In order to kill you, I'm willing to drag my wounded body here. What's wrong with using a domain?"
Tang Hao's expression remained unchanged; he felt no shame whatsoever and responded calmly.
Kong briefly sensed the Killing God Domain, then shook his head. It seemed this domain had no effect on him at all. What was going on?
But he had no time to ponder further as Tang Hao launched another attack. With the boost from his domain, Tang Hao's base power had increased by at least thirty percent!
Seeing Kong's expression remain unchanged, Tang Hao was slightly puzzled as well. He assumed Kong was merely pretending to be unaffected. The Killing God Domain could suppress all attributes of an opponent while enhancing his own. Such a domain was terrifying and well worth his perilous journey through the Hell Road.
Another clash ensued, forcing Kong to take a single step back. With the Killing God Domain supporting him, Tang Hao now had a slight edge in strength—not by much, but it was an advantage nonetheless.
"???"
Tang Hao was stunned. His Killing God Domain should boost his strength by about thirty percent while suppressing his opponent's by at least ten percent. Given their respective soul power levels, it should have reduced Kong's power by at least thirty percent.
Moreover, the Killing God Domain's greatest strength was its intimidating aura, meant to frighten and weaken opponents. Yet, his full-strength strike had merely made Kong step back one pace? How could this be?!
Tang Hao's mouth opened slightly, words hovering on his lips but never spoken.
He suddenly felt the urge to flee!
"Tang Hao, I seem to have overestimated you," Kong said flatly.
In that instant, the weather shifted dramatically. The sky darkened as thick clouds obscured the sun, and violet thunderclouds surged in the sky, churning endlessly.
"This is my first time using a domain. Clear Sky Douluo, consider it an honor!"
"Thunder God Domain!"
As Kong finished speaking, the "white world" transformed into a "sea of violet lightning." Purple lightning bolts surged like thunder dragons, rolling and roaring within the domain.
The Engulfing Lightning in Kong's hand blazed even brighter, its purple electricity now more intense and dazzling.
Tang Hao's eyes narrowed as he swallowed nervously.
Kong's soul rings showed no sign of activation, indicating that this domain wasn't tied to a soul skill—it was an innate domain!
While the Killing God Domain wasn't a soul skill either, it was an acquired domain. Tang Hao had won it after grueling trials: a hundred victories in the City of Slaughter and a near-death journey along the Hell Road.
But Kong's domain? It was innate—a domain that existed inherently, requiring no such trials or struggles to obtain.
The more he thought about it, the more infuriated Tang Hao felt!
Within the Thunder God Domain, even with his speed, how could he hope to outrun lightning?
One purple lightning bolt after another struck Tang Hao. A single bolt might not have done much harm, but with so many, he was beginning to feel overwhelmed.
The power of the thunder not only struck hard but also carried a paralyzing effect, and even someone as formidable as Tang Hao was starting to move sluggishly.
While the Thunder God Domain didn't suppress an opponent's strength, it could summon constant lightning strikes to attack enemies. These strikes could even be channeled into weapons, enhancing their attack power...
