Capítulo 20: Chapter 20
I went home after work and grabbed some of my sketches, the new factory would be more for my experimental weapons.
I had a few different models for grenades, some were the classic ball shaped and others were a square on a stick. I started walking to the new factory where keeran was bound to be or at the other factory. Even if he wasn't there the place had a phone so I could call him.
I unlocked the side door and walked through the maze of machines, I found keeran in the office which unlike the other factory it wasn't also a break room. He looked up after he heard my footsteps gave a slight smile then said "JoJo, are you ready to plan the new factory"
I replied "I brought some new designs, also I think we should train our own milita because we can't rely on mercenaries who don't have much experience with our guns" he looked down on the ground with frown then said "why would we need an army unless you plan on war"
I said "I don't plan on it I know it will happen, the earth tyrant will only get worse, she will get overthrow and the earth kingdom will be thrown into chaos, we don't want republic city to be apart of this" he nodded and said "that makes since"
"Also It is a high probability that I may become the husband of one of the northern water tribe chief's, and an experienced army wouldn't not help" I said while shrugging he let out alight chuckle then we went to work.
We prepared the place for the hiring process tomorrow, keeran knew I would come to the factory today he just gets me. We also made a few prototype grenades and we're working on a Thompson.
The Thompson would be a low priority for now because they used a lot of ammo fast and were not needed currently. We called it a night and said we would reconvene tomorrow after I get back from work.
I headed home and before I even made it to my bed I just fell asleep on the floor. I woke up feeling groggy and lin kicking me awake and saying "get the hell up, you've got a job to do"
I got up reluctantly then changed my clothes because the ones I was wearing had dirt and grime all over them. I put on my amour and walked with my limp all the way to the police headquarters.
Same old same old, I did paperwork and wasn't called to do some field work no one was actually. It was a normal day until the night came, the skies were covered in the aurora borealis or as this world called them the spirit lights.
The only time they were in the skies above republic city was I then muttered aloud while looking up at the sky "Harmonic Convergence" lin looked at me and said "Harmonic Convergence, what the hell is that"
"Every ten thousand years Raava aka the spirit the possess korra and vaatu raava's opposite, they fight and whoever wins will decide the fate of the next 10000 years of the world" I said while looking up at the sky.
I was to far away from the action I would wait and if korra and vaatu started dueling in the bay of Republic city then I would intervene with my stand. Vaatu had no one to merge with so korra would most definitely win.
I made it hone then started pacing around my room, then the wall the touched the outside of the house caved in and a spirit vine flew in.
The world was being flooded by spiritual energy, I climbed the spirit vine and looked around. The entire city was covered in them, they looked much more nature like then in the show. A golden stream of light flooded the sky, korra had beat vaatu and now all she needed to do was go back to the spirit world too fuse raava's and korra's spirits.
My stand came out even though I didn't will it too. It stuck it's hand not the spirit vine and like a mosquito he drained it of all spiritual energy. He glowed a bright light that bathed me in it's golden warmth. He stood tall with a faint glow of gold. His appearance hadn't t changed much but I could sense that he was different, maybe my stand has achieved heaven.
I sat down on the dried sprit vine that connected two buildings, my shoe fell off and onto the street but I could care less. I heard a chirp from my blind side so I turned and saw all little spirit bunny flying around my stand.
It could see it, my stand was now conscious it played with the bunny and put it on its shoulders. I spent the rest of my night sitting on the dried spirit vine Mosaic and the purple bunny played around while I just looked at the aurora borealis and admired it's beauty.
I sighed and went back into my room, moving the vine would only make it come back stronger and push more even when it's in this direction and deprived state. I fell asleep

Us police men had been dealing with so much shit, people calling about oh there's a vine in my living room. I would always respond to these calls with 'there's a vine in my living room to, sorry ma'am but some houses are collapsing and the casualties are already in the hundreds, don't try and move it yourself it'll only grow back stronger'
Avatar korra and tenzin investigated the dense spirit forest, they came back out soon after. I was standing on the platform behind the president of Republic city, lin was beside him. The news anchors and other journalists asked many questions like "Mr.president are you concerned that your approval ratings are now nearly as low as the avatars" that's straight disrespect.
Another asked " have you seen the poster, it says 'raik oh no polls pan prez plans' these people needed to learn grammar. the president replied, I could tell he was lying. I had developed some crude form of seismic sense because I'm half blind and it helps a lot "I'm not concerned with snappy put downs in the press I'm facing this calamity just like every other citizen, thers a tree growing right through my office don't ya think I've done everything to get rid of it"
He pointed over to a window that had a big ass vine poking right through it, he was lying about the 'I'm not concerned' he was most definitely concerned, the president is a power hungry man and approval ratings were key for a man like him.
