Capítulo 16: Chapter 16: The So-Called Divine

"Hmm..." How long had it been? Tina looked up at the sky.

Fire, endless fire.

Tina raised her hand and looked at it. Was that a hand? No, it was a burning stick.

It seemed like she had been screaming a long time ago, but now she was quiet.

The pain of the burning flames had not diminished at all, it had become just a part of her body, and now she could barely maintain her human form.

Inside her emaciated and withered body, there was a faint pulsating milky white substance, showing her former human identity.

"I can't die yet."

"It seems like I have a sister waiting for me."

"It seems like someone told me to hold on a little longer."

"Yes, just hold on a little longer, just hold on a little longer, can't die, can't die..."

The burned woman seemed to remember something and began to sway. She had no purpose, she just felt that being still was closer to death, and she was afraid of death.

Tina was just a reflection of the remnants within Ember, some things could be done, some things could not.

Doing what should not be done naturally came with some consequences.

But Ember didn't pay much attention to her, because at this moment, the lively activity within him had returned, and he needed to see, couldn't afford any mistakes.

Ember concentrated, his gaze penetrating into his body, and then he saw a desert.

Weapons and wreckage were scattered across the ground in large swathes. The ground was stained red, whether from blood or flags, or both.

In the center of the desert, a small bonfire burned quietly. The sky was dark, and even the sun was dark.

Pure darkness had covered the sun. Only the outer edge of the sun was still surrounded by a faint red halo.

That was the initial furnace, also the place he remembered the most.

In the battle against the incarnations of the Pyro Archons, Ember saw the Uxinnar, saw the ancient gods, and saw himself.

But by then, he had already possessed a power beyond fire. Later, he gave up that power in exchange for the rebirth of the Dark Souls world.

Of course, that was all in the past.

Now Ember looked at the initial furnace, and this time he couldn't help but smirk.

"Let's see, should I take it or not?" Beside the bonfire of the initial furnace, there were four strange things.

They were a thick black mud, a flickering red flame, a frenzying orange flame, and a wriggling lump of flesh.

"It's your turn, Primordial Fire, should we?" On the mysterious figure's body covered with a pile of cards from nowhere, he flipped over two cards, and they were both threes!

"Ah? Ah!" The Primordial Fire heard the mysterious figure's words and shouted a few times, but there was no response.

"Damn it! You're such an idiot! It's your turn, Frenzy Fire!" The mysterious figure saw the Primordial Fire's reaction and couldn't help cursing.

"Cards? Burn! Burn them! Burn them!" Frenzy Fire heard the mysterious figure's words and immediately began to act wildly.

"Bloom! Bloom!" Seeing the cards in Frenzy Fire's hands suddenly catch fire, Decay immediately joined in the excitement.

"Flower! Flower! Flower!" The cards in front of it immediately sprouted buds, and clusters of crimson flower buds grew out of them.

The debris from the burning cards fell on the mysterious figure, and the crimson flowers bloomed in front of it. The mysterious figure felt like it was about to be driven mad.

Every time, every single time! No matter what Ember brought out from his heart, it always ended like this.

"Get out of here!!!"

"One idiot, two lunatics, it's a curse to be stuck with you for eight lifetimes!" The mysterious figure roared in anger, but unfortunately it had no effect.

To some extent, the mysterious figure was the craziest one, but it just didn't realize it.

Just when the mysterious figure was raging in impotence, a large spatial rift suddenly appeared above the initial furnace.

Then a huge glass dragon and a green ox fell out of the rift.

The air suddenly became quiet. Then, the quartet of the bonfire, or rather the quartet of gods, suddenly became excited.

"The moment of great feasting has come!"

"Wow wow wow!"

"Burn! Burn! Burn!"

"Bloom! Bloom! Bloom!"

...

Seeing the quartet shouting and screaming, Ember felt a headache. He had to pick out the Primordial Fire later, otherwise, with those three mischievous fellows, who knew what it would turn into.

But fortunately, Ember checked and found that these four fellows were all fine, neither dead nor too powerful to control.

That was good. Keeping these guys under control within himself was the most stable option.

"How do you feel?" Ember squatted down, pulled up Collei's sleeve, and looked at her white arms.

"Good... it's good!" Collei saw the disappearance of the purple scales on her arms and felt the abundant energy within her body, feeling incredulous.

Although she had been confined to the doctor's laboratory since she could remember, it didn't affect her understanding of the tricky scale disease.

Because as the doctor's best experimental subject, the Fatui also didn't want her to die hastily, so while they used Collei for experiments, they also gave her treatment.

But even so, the doctor couldn't cure her scale disease, all he could do was suppress it.

But now Ember had cured her scale disease in less than half a day, this dream-like experience made Collei unable to believe it.

"Muah!" Collei kissed Ember's helmet, feeling the warmth of his helmet and the unique smell of rust, Collei knew that this was not a dream.

"Collei sister is being unreasonable, I want too!" Galara saw Collei kiss Ember, feeling a little jealous.

"Muah~" Galara jumped onto his body and started sucking his brain fervently.

"Ptui ptui ptui! It's so fishy!" Galara couldn't stand the iron smell of his helmet after kissing him for a while and jumped down from Ember's body.

"Haha!" Collei laughed when she saw Galara's performance, she couldn't help but find it amusing.

Ember touched the place where he had been kissed, scratching his head. This was the first time he had been kissed by someone.

The feeling, not bad?

"Let's go, it's time to go back." Ember just felt a little emotional for a while, then calmed down. It was just two kisses from girls, he had seen much more from Melina, Laney, and Marlenya.

He took Collei and Galara and left the tower.

Unlike before, even though the raging winds of the Stormterror Ruins had returned, they seemed to have reached some kind of tacit understanding and actively avoided Ember's position.

They walked all the way to the Wind Barrier, and Ember stopped, just looking at the raging winds inside.

Then, to the shock of Collei and Galara, the Wind Barrier opened up in front of them.

Ember nodded in satisfaction, then walked out.

Coming out of the Stormterror Ruins, Ember returned to Mondstadt with Collei and Galara

 under his arm.

As they approached home, Ember noticed a graceful figure at the door. He focused his gaze and saw that it was Lisa, whom he had met last night.

"Phew! Little idiot, you finally came back." Lisa saw Ember finally return and let out a silent sigh of relief.

Then she walked up to Ember, exhaling a fragrant breath, and said teasingly, "Making a lady wait so long, have you thought about how to compensate her? Little idiot~"

Seeing the scene before her, Galara's eyes lit up with gossip flames!

But Collei was different, she pulled Ember back, feeling embarrassed, and said, "What are you doing, the sun hasn't set yet, be careful."

"Oh?" Lisa smiled knowingly, glanced at Collei, and then walked up to her, stretching her body, revealing her full figure without reservation.

"Younger sister, you should eat more, or you won't be able to compete with me." Despite Collei's objections, Lisa rubbed her head.

Ember watched with confusion, unable to understand Lisa and Collei's actions. He had only experienced this feeling when Melina, Laney, and Marlenya met two of them.

"Alright, alright, Lisa, what's up?" Ember shook his head, unable to understand, so he gave up.

He was more concerned about why Lisa had been waiting for him. Did she have something to ask?

"What did you say?!"

"It's solved?"

"Solved!!!"

Lisa covered her forehead, these past few days had brought her more shocks than the past few decades.
