[She immediately calmed down after hearing your words and quickly accepted your confession. However, after she accepted, you suddenly felt an overwhelming favorability towards her.]

[Second Day: Yesterday, you spent all the time playing around with Alaine, and today, it will not be different.]
[You woke up while lying on her knees and immediately gave her a good morning kiss which she gladly reciprocated. Then, both of you teamed up, leaving both Bianca and Jane alone, and started fighting against the waves.]
[You spent most of the day fighting against the zombie waves and finally reached the 25th wave where Alaine told you to stop for now. You gladly followed her words, and then cuddled up with her for the rest of the day.]
[Third Day: You spent most of the time fighting against the waves of zombies and then being lovey-dovey with Alaine...]

Lucius suddenly felt a massive headache coming on, causing him to bow his head as sweat began to form on his forehead.
His vision started to become very blurry as another notification suddenly appeared in front of him, but in an unusual color, which was very different from the system's.
Instead of its usual pale blue color, it had a strangely pink one.
[The skill ⋘Future Sight⋙ is now in cooldown. Time Remaining: 999 years.]
"The fuck?!" Lucius unconsciously blurted out.
*Stab*
"Kuaggh!" Alaine stabbed her sword at his body once again, however...
This time, the sword penetrated one of his fatal organs causing him to vomit a whole mouthful of blood.
Lucius immediately started circling his own technique after being stabbed. His mana immediately reached out to the fatal organ and quickly calmed down the situation.
"Oh? Your mana's control is quite... perfect." Alaine took out the sword from Lucius' body and looked at him with a piercing ice-cold gaze.
"Mhm..."
[Sage's Eyes...]
Alaine activated one of her strongest skills on Lucius. This one in particular could see through the stats of most players, just like Lucius' unique skill.
However, when that same skill was met with a skill that was more powerful than it, even if it was at a lower level...
It would undeniably be canceled.

A single notification appeared in front of her.
That same notification left her speechless, and her eyes immediately turned even more suspicious as she looked at Lucius.
'He's dangerous.' She evaluated him.
He wasn't the same Lucius as the other regressions, he was completely different. Before, she could see Lucius' status in all of her regressions.
But now, she couldn't.
Something was wrong.
But the question was...
What was wrong?
"You... you're different..." She pointed her sword at his neck, looking into his eyes with a gaze colder than ice.
At this moment, Lucius' lips curled up as a trail of blood slid down...
"Why? Am I different from your past regressions, my dear... Alaine?"
*...Shock...*
Alaine's grip on her sword immediately tightened as she heard his words, and her eyes became incredibly sharp.
She was ready to kill him.
"Honestly... I'm quite speechless, you were able to love me more than 998 times even after I killed you each time."
"It's quite shocking, isn't it?"
Her grip on the sword started trembling as Lucius continued.
He held his hand on the place where Alaine had stabbed one of his vital organs, continuously inserting mana into it.
"You even got a title for it... ⋘Hopeless Lover⋙, right?" His eyes sharpened slightly as he noticed how her grip had changed.
Now... he was sure that she was going to kill him.
Nevertheless, that didn't stop him.
"Ahahah... such a pity..." He laughed aloud, not caring about her deadly gaze.
Alaine remained silent, but then, she stuck the sword's blade into his neck, making a faint trail of blood escape the wound.
Lucius didn't panic or anything after seeing that.
'Contract...'
[+ 100 Magic.]
"Hey... Alaine. I have a question before you decapitate me."
"...What?" She tightened her grip around the sword's handle.
"Do you regret it?"
"Not killing me in every single regression?" He smiled faintly.
To his words, Alaine simply shook her head.
"No, I don't. I was the one that let you kill me after all." She added.
"However, now it's time for me to kill you, finally." Her cold face was replaced with a faint smile that didn't correspond to the situation in case.
"I see..." He bowed his head and closed his eyes as if awaiting his death.
Alaine, noticing this, simply closed her eyes for a moment before opening them once again.
"Goodbye... forever," she added silently.
However, before she could swing her sword...
"Hahah... what a joke."
*Freeze!*
The entire place turned into an ice structure, and Alaine immediately felt a layer of ice covering her hand, as if it was threatening to freeze her body into an ice sculpture.
"Haaaaahh..." A cold breath escaped Lucius' mouth in the form of smoke.
His dark eyes let out a dark blue glint as he quickly got up as a layer of ice covered all the wounds he had suffered from Alaine.
But, Alaine didn't seem to be shocked by his actions, instead, she was expecting something like this to happen.
"I'm quite obvious, aren't I?" Lucius smiled as he saw Alaine waving her hand, and his ice power was immediately suppressed.
"And crazy."
"Right," he nodded at her words. "I mean, who would be crazy enough to try to win a fight against someone who regressed 998 times?"
"...That would be you," she replied before storing away her sword. "Even if you're much different from the other regressions, you're still... the same as ever."
"A selfish bastard that would only care about his own survival, and didn't care about sacrificing his 'loved' ones to do it."
"And yet..." she paused for a moment before continuing, "I'm still in love with that same selfish bastard."
"It's such a big mistake, right? Loving the same person over thousands of years... dying on his hands, just to regress and be with him again."
"So, I thought I'd be able to kill you this time. However, it seems that my heart isn't satisfied with just killing you..."
"Instead..." she paused her words once again, before suddenly curling her lips into a wide smile.
Her pupils contracted, as two clear, heart symbols appeared in her beautiful eyes.

"I should simply make you obsessed with my body, and then imprison you for all eternity!" she said excitedly.
"You wouldn't mind that, right?"

I'm currently in another country...
And, I'm working like a lot, but a lot, and a lot.
Honestly, I only have a free day during the whole week so, I really can't write anything since I spent that time going out with my friends and all, after all, it's my free time to relax.
Because of that, I'm really sorry about not writing.
Like I mentioned before, I won't abruptly end this "fanfic" as I did with my other one, however, I don't know when am I going to be able to upload chapters.
