In a straightforward and frank exchange, Yang Yi and Jethro quickly reached an agreement.
Regardless of whether they could fulfill it or not, first, they had to reach an understanding; under Yang Yi's influence – no, it was under Yang Yi's persuasion – Jethro had stepped onto the thief's ship.
With the agreement in place, things became much easier. Now, it wasn't Yang Yi who was anxious, but Jethro.
"What should we do now?"
"First, you need to tell me Deyo's phone number. Can you find his number?"
Jethro actually hesitated over whether or not to tell Yang Yi the number.
Yang Yi wasn't in a hurry; he just looked at Jethro, who, after gritting his teeth, said, "It's Deyo who wants to kill me!"
"Yes, obviously."
"Then I'm not betraying him by doing this!"
"Of course, you're just trying to protect yourself."
Seemingly comforted, Jethro no longer hesitated and said gravely, "There is a number that Deyo has never changed. He doesn't use it often, but he is sure to do so."
