After washing up and getting ready in her space, Luo Qiao finally went downstairs with a basket and headed out. She thought of strolling around the morning market to see if there were any rare delicacies.
At the entrance of the market, she saw fried sausages for sale, got two portions, and, recalling how Grandpa had mentioned them before, decided it was her first time seeing such a thing. She planned to take them home for Grandpa to try.
Noticing a stall selling fried cakes nearby and knowing that Grandma loves them, she bought a few and had them neatly packed.
On the way home, she found a secluded spot to take out two black fish, a grass carp, and over thirty eggs, as well as a pound of white sugar and a pound of brown sugar.
When she returned home, Grandma was already up. Seeing Luo Qiao come in from the outside with a basket in hand, she knew the girl must have gone to the morning market.
