"Thank you for all the help, Winn." Melchior said, tucking the scrolls into his dark cloak as they exited the technique storage room, "I'll make sure to remember this, at the very least."

Winn bowed slightly.

"I'd appreciate that, sir. If you need anything on the administrative side of things, I'm always here to help."

"Understood. I'll keep that in mind,"

Overall, after Winn had proven his worth, he finally saw the value in keeping him around. If he had just been some useless freeloader who did nothing but bootlick, he would have been kicked to the side without a second thought.

But now he had proven himself to be extra useful.

'He's like a tiny, weaker, human Damjan. How convenient.'

He tossed those thoughts aside for the time being and continued talking.

"Well, I'll be going now, Winn." he said, "I'll call you if there's anything."
