Melchior headed back to the main parts of the city and found a room in a decent inn. The issue with Vepas and Belial made him even more eager to get some proper rest. He dropped the horse at the stables and went straight to his room immediately.

It was way better than his room back in Blackmount. A soft pillow sat in front of the carved wooden headboard that stretched up high slightly. The bed itself engulfed his entire body in a comfortable hug, almost stopping him from getting up in time.

A white animal fur rug was sprawled out at the foot of the bed, giving the room a more homely feel to it.

He collapsed onto the bed and closed his eyes. A few seconds later, a faint blue energy coalesced around him, flowing across his entire body slowly.
