"Linda why are you here?!"

Jade shouted at the top of her lungs, her face filled with worry and anxiety.

Linda had discreetly followed the duo to the training grounds to try and stop them from conflict, but as she witnessed Katrina's true nature, she had been too terrified to reveal herself.

Additionally, her worry for Jade prevented her from quietly escaping.

So, she hid herself behind a distant tree and observed the fierce battle unfolding, never having witnessed two rankers fully go at it.

she was filled with awe and wondered just how it was possible for humans to move so quickly that her eyes could barely follow, though she had seen them spar before it was nothing compared to their fight just now.

Before Linda could even respond, Katrina squeezed her larynx making it difficult for her to speak.

"Stop! Do not harm her."

Jade's anxiety made her digestive fluids rise to her chest.

"It is me you want right? Let Linda go she has nothing to do with this…"
