"Yuze," called out Qi Yaqin. "Walk with me." She took Qi Yuze out to the courtyard and for a moment, she didn't know where to begin. "Your father doesn't doubt you."
"It doesn't matter to me," replied Qi Yuze carelessly. "I'm not here to gain his trust."
"You are his son, of course, there is trust."
Qi Yuze turned his head to glance at her, "I am not a kid who doesn't understand anything. I grew up in an environment where I had always to read the expressions of adults to act accordingly to survive. So, I do have the ability to distinguish emotions. Just because he doesn't doubt me this time does not mean that he trusts me. There is no trust between us. I don't blame him because I don't trust him. In fact, I don't trust anyone in this family, including you."
Qi Yuze isn't one to really ignore someone's life and death as can be seen from how he helped Liu Xinyu repeatedly despite the fact that she annoyed him every single time. He didn't hold a grudge and always chose to help her because deep inside, he really is a good person.
