Capítulo 306: PROVE YOUR WORTH TO LORD NIKO

The chill in the air is not unusual, but tonight, as I approach Countess Tharn's chambers, it feels sharper. My boots made a hollow sound against the stone floor, each step echoing louder in my ears as I got closer. When I reached her door, I paused. She will know soon enough. I knocked at the door, the sound breaking the silence of the corridor.

"Enter," her voice, calm and measured, calls from within.

I push the door open and step inside. Countess Tharn was seated by the fire, her dark hair cascading over her shoulders, her eyes reflecting the flickering flames. She looks up, and our eyes meet.

"Kieran," she says, a hint of curiosity in her tone. "What brings you at this hour?"

I shut the door behind me, feeling the warmth of the room engulf me. "Tharn, Lord Niko has given me a task," I begin, stepping closer to the fire. "He is sending me to Iona… as an ambassador of the Sith. I am confused by all these and need advice on the same. "
