Capítulo 157: COMMANDER CHRISTIAN IS IN ELISERA

DRUSILLA'S POV

I left Pa Blaise and Ma and went to bed after having the heart-to-heart talk. Sleep eluded me and by the early hours of the morning, I had tossed and turned in my bed and finally chose to drown myself in whiskey and then blacked out an hour after seven pm.

" Wake up Drusilla" I heard Ma's voice as she attempted to wake me up and shook my body.

" I am awake " I murmured and when I opened my eyes, the room was filled with darkness. I jolted from the bed and sat up as my eyes landed on the window and the realization that it was already dusk made me feel embarrassed. " How long was I asleep?"

" All day " Ma responded as she picked up the empty bottle of whiskey and walked out of the room.
