The first night in her room was not as good as she had expected. Bel couldn't fall asleep until the early hours of the morning, and when Giselle came to wake her up, Bel didn't want to get out of bed. She groaned, tossing and turning until she eventually managed to rise.
"Do you still feel sick?" Giselle asked as she watched the struggle.
Bel gave her a stiff smile. "No, I just slept late."
"Oh, was the bed uncomfortable? It hasn't been worn in, so it might have been a little too hard for you to sleep on."
"No, I just had a hard time falling asleep."
"Well, alright. I will help you get ready."
Bel smiled faintly and let Giselle lead her. Unfortunately, even the water didn't help, and she sat at the dining table yawning while Giselle laid out her breakfast. Hopefully, if she ate, she wouldn't be as tired anymore.
