Capítulo 87: Blood Gem

"What about the necklace, and how did you get it?"

Mallory stared down at the necklace with wide eyes and covered it with her palm. "Stelian," she announced proudly. "Blood Gem."

A/N: Blood Gem is the name of the necklace (more like a choker) Misha wore in the prologue. Mallory's is a little different. Hers actually looks like a gem.

She looked giddy as she responded, and Bel thought she looked like she was about to break into a dance. Mallory managed to stop herself and grabbed the sides of her dress with a sheepish smile.

"It looks good on you," Bel admitted.

"Thank you," Mallory responded and nodded.

"Did you hurt your back when you hit it on the fireplace? I can heal you if you're hurt," Bel offered. She still felt bad for scaring her, especially because of her reaction. It was something Bel wouldn't forget so easily.

Mallory shook her head vehemently. "Be back," she said and started heading for the door. "Water."
