Yu Jingchen led her to a private restaurant, and as soon as An Ning entered the private room, she stood in front of a large mirror.
She stood at attention, saluted, and began to march in place, her mind filled with the details of the movements.
"At ease," Yu Jingchen suddenly commanded.
The stern command made An Ning immediately stand at attention.
"Right face," he continued.
An Ning turned to face him.
"Forward march," his voice rang out again.
An Ning lifted her head, puffed out her chest, drew in her abdomen, and walked forward with her arms and legs taut.
When she reached him, Yu Jingchen called out, "At ease."
An Ning stopped again.
"Sit."
An Ning, like a robot, took a seat.
"Eat."
An Ning picked up the chopsticks, but the next second, as if waking from a dream, she threw them down and stood up. "I don't want to eat right now, I'm still thinking about things."
Yu Jingchen pulled her down directly, making her sit on his lap. "Eating doesn't interfere with thinking."
