"If I ask Galen about Sullivan, he'll start doubting me. They're too close, and Galen would likely tell Sullivan everything. That would be a disaster," Dahlia muttered under her breath, scraping the soil with a small stone as if trying to distract herself.

Her quiet moment was interrupted by a soft voice. "Your Highness, what are you doing out here all alone?" Nylie asked, concern lacing her tone.

Dahlia quickly dropped the stone, brushing the dirt off her hands as she stood up. "Is something wrong?" she asked, her expression shifting to one of calm composure, masking her earlier worries.

"Prince Sullivan is looking for you," Nylie informed her.

"Why?" Dahlia asked, curiosity piqued.

"His Highness said he has something to give you," Nylie replied.

Dahlia's eyes lit up. "Is it a gift?"

"Perhaps," Nylie murmured, a knowing smile playing on her lips.
