Three days passed in a blur, and before Ren knew he was already back to his health. Even though he insisted that he was completely fine, Griffin's regular checkups continued without fail, and so did Terim's company.

Zenith wanted to visit him, but by some god's grace, the emergency at her office did not let her fulfill her wish. Ren felt a strange sense of relief at her absence.

He found comfort in knowing his parents were loving in this life and that they might never throw him away to fetch on his own.

However, he was not ready to face them as his 'aunts' just yet.

Rather than being jealous, he was hesitant. Like a little kid who secretly wished to impress his parents, he, too, wanted to meet them in his prime condition.

He was sitting in the garden, enjoying the warmth of the sun in the chilly afternoon. His little god was back from the headquarters.
