Capítulo 24: Shadow realm ticket
Ezra rounded up the reading on Trez, he had gotten what he wanted and could start preparing the adequate plan, he was most certainly going to give him a cruel death.
Last on his night study was the spell, he was eager to open it and had to hold himself back all this time. He took the scroll and when he unraveled it.
[Shadow-based ability detected, do you wish to modify and assimilate?]
"I didn't even read it, that means I can really get more abilities from just getting spells."
Ezra was ecstatic, he felt like jumping in happiness.
"Yes," he responded.
The system went silent for a moment then sent a notification.
[Shadow ability modified and assimilated]

Ezra was wowed when he saw this, Shadow armor? He had to attempt it.
He got up from the chair and stood at the center of his room. He immediately willed the shadow armor.
Shadow tendrils burst out of his body and surrounded him, forming a fitting armor around his body, it covered till a helmet with red glowing eyes covered his head.
Ezra didn't feel any extra weight at all, he was completely normal, but he could feel the defensive power of the armor.

A sudden notification came, one that Ezra was not expecting at all. He stared at it and was surprised, this was another opportunity to go back into the shadow realm and get stronger.
When he thought of how he was bullied by the Omega Shadow Hydra, his blood boiled in rage.
He deactivated the armor and sat on his bed, he wasn't sure if he should go to the shadow realm now, it was ten hours, it would be day when he was out.
"If I just disappeared like that, it would cause worry. I'll go to the forest outside the town tomorrow."
He decided to work out and practice his martial arts for some hours before he slept.

The rays of the sun announced a new day, but Ezra was already up long before, he practiced his martial arts and then cleaned up to leave, he ensured that he took his scythe with him.
"Where are you off to this early morning?" His mum who was in the kitchen asked him when she saw him.
"The new spell, I want to go learn it as best as I can. Tell Lisa that I'll come back later in the day to train with her, bye Mum."
Be didn't wait for her to say anything, he ran out of the house. He went on full throttle, running towards the entrance of the town.
It took him ten minutes at full speed to get there, he could see carriages and people coming and leaving the town this early already
He followed the crowd and left the town, immediately after he crossed the entrance, he dashed in the direction of the forest.
"Hey kid, stay in the outskirts!" A guard noticed where Ezra was headed for and yelled out to him.
"Okay, I will," Ezra replied, waving his hand.
The guard understood that Ezra was at the age where he would start forging his path through training and other things.
Twelve years old was that age, the age where that had to start getting stronger to survive the world.
Some people awoken their cores early, immediately they hit twelve like Lisa, others had it late, towards their thirteenth birthday.
Then they were the late bloomers who had it around thirteen to fourteen. After that, it was believed to be impossible to awaken your core.
Ezra got to the boundary of the large forest, and without thought he bolted into the forest.
He used shadow perception to observe all the shadows around him, if he felt a human shadow, he would definitely know and then he would avoid the person
When he was a bit deep inside and was certain that he was alone, he used the ticket.
The portal opened up like before, and unlike the last time he walked in with confidence, the portal closed immediately after he entered.
[Survive ten hours]
The notification came like last time, signifying the beginning.
He looked around, but there was no shadow yet, he also saw a large mountain shrouded in black fog.
"This must be a different place from where I was last time."
He decided that his target for today would be to get to the mountain and see what it was about.
He headed for the mountain, but the shadows finally came, the humanoid figures rose and headed his way.
"Okay then, today I'll fight you with some new stuff. Come forth, Riot."
He summoned Riot to come and fight for him. Riot came out and gave a resounding roar.
[Riot has come in contact with pure shadow energy from the shadow realm, all Riot's stats are doubled.]

Ezra noticed that Riot's stats were not all summarized into vitality like his own, maybe that was because Riot used purely shadow energy and no vitality.
Ezra was also amazed with the stats, Riot would be able to take down hundreds of these shadows.
"Riot, massacre them," Ezra ordered.
Riot moved like a flash, and in a split second, he reached a shadow and began the battle.

The notifications soon began rolling in, meaning Riot was doing a great job.
"I think it is time I join," Ezra said.
"Shadow armor." The armor covered him, while only the eyes glowed red. He held onto his scythe, looking like the god of war about to enter battle.
He launched at a group of shadows heard his way, spinning around and slashing in a large arc. His scythe ripped into their bodies cleanly, killing them instantly.
