A part of these fragmented souls was completely loyal to Aksai. However, they were still fragmented consciousnesses. The ones not tamed by Aksai's subroutine neural link fabric produced abundant negative emotions—so much so that the combination of Everwood Farm and the Demon Tree started acting like the Devil's Den on their own.
