Capítulo 230: Chapter 16: Exchanging promises
"There's no need to come here, Sir Steve. This is nothing," Killian spoke after a few minutes. He had a feeling his boss won't even start a conversation with him if he didn't initiate it.
Nathaniel furrowed his brows. Not just from being called by someone's name but from the coldness of Killian's voice. "You have a broken arm and a bruised face, and it's nothing? Who are you trying to fool here?"
"I just don't want to waste your time, sir. You seemed so busy these days." Killian tried, but he still sounded sarcastic.
Nathaniel halted. He pursed his lips and looked away. "Mr. Arden… I…I will settle the bill, stay here."
Killian watched Nathaniel leave. He felt exhausted for some reason. He lay on the bed and closed his eyes. It wasn't even that late in the afternoon, yet he was sleepy already. Before he realized it, he drifted to sleep already.

superAyan if you notice, when it's Killian's parts, the narration refers to Nathaniel as 'his boss' or 'deputy director', it was because I avoided using the name Steve often as it will be a bit confusing, while using Nathaniel may appear like Killian already knew his identity. I'm just trying to explain this coz even I got annoyed (Why can't I just use their names?!) XD
